Design Originals Friendship Bracelets 101: Fun to Make, Wear, and Share!

This book DOES NOT exactly have 101 different friendship bracelet designs at all, it has roughly 26 designs, that are then shown in different colours and the techniques are shown in varied designs/colours using the same 26 concepts to give a varied looking design. But once you learn the 26 concepts, you can use them to make as many varied designs as you like, so the book is quite misleading in this respect. The book itself is a very thin book and only has 19 pages, which speaks for itself!The instructions are not exactly step by step and only show how to tie the knots on some of them, whilst the rest just use coloured lines and dots to show where a knot should be, so I believe this would actually be quite difficult for a younger child to understand, making this book more suitable for an older child or adult who enjoys crafting, like myself.Basic knot guides are shown initially at the beginning of the book, starter knot, left knot and right knot, then knot guides for other designs throughout, like the square knot and french knots. The book shows how to create, stripes, chevrons, woven stripes, zig zags, waves, double waves, braids and varied diamond designs. It also shows how to add beads into the bracelets to make beaded designs.

I was expected more thick book for that price and there is at least hmm 3 styles which I want to try to do it. Better if you will find online if you looking for one style from this book. Sorry but the price is not worth to buy, if would be cheeper than I would give more star.

Very thin so not as detailed as I thought but some lovely patterns. My 9 year old has already spotted what she wants to do

This is poor value it's a pamphlet smaller than a comic it's not a book.

Very clear instructions. I am pensioner, just enjoying half an hour now and then producing a colourful cotton braid, which I sew onto cushions etc. I haven't ventured further than the basics yet. Good book.
