I use this for music production and find it very comfortable. The ear cups have the softest microfibre cloth which doesn’t make my head hurt. The sound is much better than my hearing so putting these on transforms the quality of the music. A good metal headband that won’t fail is a must have feature. It feels worth the premium to have a headset so ideal.

I have been using them for more than 6 months, they sound very well and they are super comfortable The cable is a tiny, but some may even be a plus if you listen to music on the go. I am 1m away from my computed jack and is just fine I wear glasses and they are not the best for extended use with glasses, don't get me wrong they are still comfy but at work I have a pair for Senheisser HD569 and they are much better to use with glasses For 3-4 ish hours of use with glasses this ones are still fine

This is a review for DT 770 PRO 32 Ohm Gray version. I’ve been using this headphone for a few weeks, mostly for watching different type of videos on a laptop including classical music and movies. A few highlights below (all are covered by other reviewers). 1. V-shaped: more focus on low and high end frequencies. I prefer V-shape and my laptop audio settings were set to V. For this headphone, however, I turned off equalizer and other sound enhancements. The quality of the audio is quite good, especially when watching movies: I can hear more nuanced sounds with better surround effects (compared to Shure SE215). One thing is a bit annoying: I can hear certain very low frequency sounds that I didn’t before with Shure SE215. Some of those LF noises are there maybe because the origin of those music videos is a vinyl recording. 2. Headphone is mostly comfortable, even if I wear them for a few hours. Although it is reasonably big and covers my years, it presses a bit on the end of my ears so I have to readjust if I wear it for a long period of time. 3. Although it is 32 ohm, I have to turn the volume to 100% most of the time (especially YT videos). 4. When arrived, the seal on the box was open. However, this was likely due to the quality of the glue on that seal. 5. Good build quality including the cable. Overall, I am satisfied with the headphone.

I have not seen or heard of a set of low-end headphones that are a better value than these. When I say low-end, I mean for audiophile headphones as they can easily approach $1000+. I have now had these for three months and I am continually shocked by these headphones. The good things about the DT 770s: 1. They are very comfortable, I wear them for hours at a time (even with a mask around my ears) and I never have any issues with them. I have larger ears so some headphones such as AudioTechnica mx50x can be a tight fit, but there is plenty of space in these cans. They also have interchangeable padding which is a plus, but I really like the included padding, so I likely won't change. 2. They have a very balanced sound profile. I am not a huge fan of a thumping bass and I mostly listen to Classical and Rock music. The sound is very clear in the highs, mids, and lows. It is very easy to distinguish between different parts, even in chaotic songs. 3. The build is very sturdy. The earcups are made of a hard plastic which I have no worries about breaking. And as mentioned above the padding can easily be replaced when it wears out. The cons of the DT770s: 1. They do not have a removeable cable. They come with a nice cable that is fairly long, but I would like to have the opportunity to replace the cable if I wanted to. 2. Higher impedance needs a DAC. This isn't con as much as a warning for those who are not aware. If you buy the 80 Ohm or 250 Ohm 770s you will need to spend at least $80 dollars on a DAC to power the headphones. If you are wanting to listen off your phone or computer without a DAC, get the 32 Ohm version. Again, these are amazing headphones and I would recommend them to anyone looking for some good studio headphones on the lower-end!
