Not sure why this cable exists. I bought one for my evolve x case thinking Phanteks only did the one version. For a couple of quid more they make a "premium version" I think it was Jayz 2 cents who did a video comparing the 2. He said there was a huge quality difference between the 2 and not to buy the slim version. They look almost identical except one has 6 ribbons and one has 7. Luckily being amazon I was able to return it for the premium version which I think at the time was £3 more. I mean it worked fine but for £3 what's the point in its existence?

Acquired this riser cable for vertical GPU install for an AMD 3900X build in a Phanteks P600S case. Fits perfectly for my Asus Strix 1080Ti GPU card.

This seemed like a worthy purchase and was fine upon first installation but once you go to run a game the clock speeds vary dramatically and i have now started to get direct x issues from this cable casuing most high end 3A games to crash . i run a 2080 super winforce and a ryzen 9 3900x and these crashes should not be occuring.DO NOT BUY

Pros-Price was ok.-Next day prime shipping.-Decent material quality.-Looks professional and looks great in the case.-Easy to install.-So far works great.Cons-There is only a bracket on the right hand side for the cable. This is common issue, but means that the left side of the cable if not installed carefully can slip of the connection.-No printed manual of any kind.Summary-Really like the product and would purchase again.
