This was a birthday gift for my wife, who has recently developed an interest in Mahjong, and I'm glad to say she was delighted with it. The tiles are a good size, have a great feel in the hand, and produce the right happy 'click' sounds when laid down on a solid surface or on the tile trays (which were wood in the set we received). In my case, the teal color with a subtle quilting pattern (according to my wife) inlaid was the perfect choice - but there seem to be several other colors and patterns to chose from. Overall, a great choice for a mid-level, complete Mahjong set.

The set is complete, with all the promised components, is made of sturdy materials, and is beautiful. The case is made of canvas and seems durable. The lining is somewhat thin. The color of the case and inner sleeves is a lovely mint green that matches the backs of the tiles, making for a cheerful, coordinated set. The tiles have a nice weight and feel. All are finished well and easy to read. The racks are unfinished wood. The magnets are weak, but a weak magnet lets you swing the pusher out without jostling or tipping the tiles. The magnets hold the pushers against the rack adequately when there are no tiles to hold them up. I really love this set and can't wait to take it to my next game session.

Love the bag and the way everything packs away neatly, the racks are great and the tiles. So happy with my purchase.
