Life saver
I had to replace a second injector on my 2009 Escape 3.0. Good thing I decided to order another one to have on hand because a second one failed this morning. Maybe I should have replaced all 6? Not sure. It is so easy to do yourself. And running with a shorted injector does not score the cylinder due to washdown nor burn the cat due to unburned fuel, so really not a big deal. But I'm going to at least buy 1 more just in case. Note that the clip breaks instantly upon me touching it. I have successfully used a zip tie through the broken clip hole and loop around injector. The zip tie catches on a knob of the injector. This worked well for the first injector I replaced, and it didn't come loose. The car has got to keep on rolling for 6 months until teens move out. It has 200k miles and is still running well! It probably needs front shocks.

Worked like the original...because it IS the original Ford part
Rarely, fuel injectors fail electrically. They often get debris logged in the orifice but electrically, they never seem to fail (at least on my Honda's and Toyota's in the 'fleet'). And this was an intermittent problem with the internal wiring of the injector that would come and go causing my 3.0L V6 to become a V5 when the #4 injector decided not to INJECT that day. Fairly easy fix (if you have taken the intake manifold off to change plugs, you are 90% there.) Just remove the upper intake manifold (10 min) and then unbolt and pull the fuel rail with injectors attached, out if the lower manifold holes. One clip holds the injector at the top, remove and replace and reinstall. OEM parts are the only way to go for fuel and emissions issues. The original lasted 13 yrs so I assume the replacement will outlive me. : )

Perfect for 2012 Fusion 3.0L
CEL indicated a bad #5 cylinder. Replaced the plug and COP but no luck....replaced the injector with this one and the car runs perfectly now and CEL cleared. 2012 Fusion 3.0L

Injectors work great
Same injector as OEM for 2010 Ford Fusion SEL 3.0 Flexfuel. Vehicle fired up smoothly after install. Much less expensive to get these on Amazon than the Dealer. Dealer won't tell you what brand is OEM, so a little research is recommended.

Gotta love OEM!
I purchased this OEM Motorcraft fuel injector for my 2012 Ford Escape that was throwing off error codes for the number 5 cylinder and causing the check engine light to come on and sent the vehicle into a "limp home" caution mode. It fixed the problem and the fuel injector and the vehicle are running great with no issues since the repair. The only negative with this part and most OEM parts is the price. If I had to replace all 6 of the fuel injectors at once ( which I probably should have done simply for reliability ) it would have been a $333 repair bill just for the parts not including taxes or labor. If reliability is more important than price then OEM is the way to go nd I can certainly recommend this part.

works good.
Solved a misfire issue on my 2009 ford escape. One injector failed, preferred to replace it with OEM.
