This game is fantastic and draws people in who normally are not table top gamers. Pro: This game is extremely easy to learn, the mechanic of it is very fun, and the more people you have the more fun it is. The design of the game is very simple, yet very exciting and relatively fast paced. You get through a game in 10 min and the thinking that is involved is good solid strategically thinking. Con: My only draw back with this game is how repayable it is. You could argue that the game is different every time, and this is true from a piece, location and movement aspect, but the strategies don’t change. Most of the fun is in your first 5 games learning a strategy that works, and from here you are never forced to re-invent yourself or adjust your main strategy. This can get a bit boring (especially for more advanced gamers). Kids: I have a 7 year old and a 5 year old who play and love this game. They didn’t struggle with understanding the rules at all, and love playing the game. They love to push their pawns towards each other and turn at the last minute (which is actually a very good strategy moving towards the middle of the board and then claiming a side to try and stall out the other players). I would recommend it for a mature 5 year old and certainly for 6 and 7 year olds and older who like games. Overall: This game rocks overall, the only con I had was a slight one, and people who play it once or see it played usually get excited to continue to play it. This has become a family favorite, it is also a game we know we can break out at any time, with any crowd anywhere and have fun with.

シンプルな内容なのに見た感じの印象はとても綺麗。コマも盤面も味出まくりです。 日本語訳はありませんが、ルールに関してはブログ等でレビューを見れば二度と説明がいらないくらいです。 老若男女、更には外国の方とでも盛り上がれるとても良いゲームだと思います。 誰とでも楽しめるゲームではありますが、少し場所を取りますので、いつでも持ち運んで…と言うわけにはいかないですね。 素晴らしい買い物でした。「海の通路」も是非プレイしたいと思います。

A great simple game. It's a bit pricey for what it is but it is well made and such an easy yet strategic game to play, good for all ages and any number of players. Highly recommend.
