Ernie Ball 2223 Super Slinky 9-42 (12 Pack Bundle)

I wanted bulk and this seems like a fair price to me. I have use Ernie Ball strings for years and I am satisfied with them. I use this brand for both solid and hollowbody guitars.

They are Ernie Ball, buy them. Or don't! String brand is sort of personal on guitars. I like the longevity and durability. They sound "good" for longer in other words. I like them better than many more expensive brands, including stringjoy. Stringjoy is a ripoff!

I have used super slinkies for over 50 years. I have 20 guitars-Les Pauls, SG,Strats,and Teles. All of these guitars have one thing in common. They all are strung with Ernie Ball Super Slinkys purchased from Amazon. Consistent, durable, and great for Blues riffs that require a lot of bending.

These are the best strings, for me.Strings are a preference for sure, but I am so glad I tried these strings out back in the day. I have been using this very set since the 90's and have no desire to switch

Awesome strings for the money, durable if you have the habit to clean your strings before and after every gig. I'm playing in gigs daily, living in an island were the weather is humid, warm and full of saltpeter in the air. Things can get rusty in a matter of days. These strings have been proven to be efficient enough for me to hold one set for a month or a month in a half in heavy playing seasons. The store also sent me a little gift: a pick and a nice towel to keep my guitar even more clean :) Nice bundle!

Ernie Ball, as always have been my go-to strings. Love how they sound and feel. Price is right as well.

I've been using Ernie Ball strings for years and I have no desire to change brands.That said, this shipment of a dozen sets of strings was shipped as 4 packages of 3 sets of strings. I mention it because previous orders all came as single packs and Ernie Ball single packs are sealed in an airtight package that is foil lined on the inside. This keeps them virtually impervious to corrosion and gives them a very long shelf life.The 3 packs I received keep the sets separate, but they are in a more traditional plastic wrap and it doesn't appear to have as much shelf life. The difference may be negligible but it did put me off a bit. If you have several guitars and/or you change strings quite often, this probably won't be an issue. But if you're buying these as a once a year purchase for a single guitar, you would probably be better served by buying individual sets.I don't remember reading on the product description about it packaging being as it is and in looking up the order, it only states "12 pack bundle."That said, other than packaging, I've been using Ernie Ball strings for a very long time and that is unlikely to change any time soon!
