I haven't had this thing long, though I've been using it extensively. It reflects everything I love about brass. It's ductile, has a very soft feel, and gained a really nice petina quickly. Don't get me wrong, the nice shiny exterior it had when I pulled it from the box was very pretty, but I was glad to see it wore and changed quickly with use.Unlike the nickel-plated Zippo I had before, this one shows character already. Scratches, nicks, and dulling where I hold it all showed quickly. If you want something shiny and pretty, stick with the nickel-plated kind. If you want something that will age with you and show that it's uniquely yours, this is clearly more your style.Keep in mind, the chimney insert is steel with what seems to be a brass plating. That's fine, as that's the part that needs to be supremely durable.Altogether, standard high quality Zippo. Absolutely worth the price!

Nice! Works and fits with butane insert. I don't know why the Jim Beam reference in the header. No Jim Beam anything and thats what I wanted.So if you are looking for a Jim Beam logo this lighter has not.
