The cup is beautiful. There is a lot of clay in the cup so it is sturdy but heavier than expected

Replacement for my favorite mug that has been broken (no fault of mug). No idea there were so many designs to choose from. It's at least a 16oz size, maybe more, is sturdy, and very attractive and is comfortable in my small hands.

I bought this as a gift for someone. I am very happy with how it looks and feels. I spent a long time trying to find a heavy/thick mug, and this is it! It doesn't feel like it will chip easily. It has a unique glaze with trees and snowy mountains, so no mug is exactly alike! The only problem is that there are a few bubbles, probably from the glazing process. Also, there was a sticker on the bottom of my mug that said it was made in Mexico, if it matters to you. Overall, I think the person I'm gifting this to will enjoy it!

I love these mugs. The designs are interesting and unique. They are a nice 16 oz coffee size. However, they are definitely not a standardized mug made in a factory. Each of the ones I’ve purchased are quite robust (not delicate china). One of them is actually more of an oval than round. Each mug has it’s own character.

After searching for a new addition to our Mara Stoneware Mug collection, I was thrilled to find the Snowy Mountain design. The bright colors and glossy finish are an exact match to my current Mara Mugs set. I was looking specifically for a mountain scene to follow suit with our "ski" collection and this is the perfect design. These mugs are made of a heavy ceramic stoneware and are microwave, dishwasher & oven safe. There are tons of design choices and each holds a full 16 oz of whatever you choose--certainly enough coffee to start any day off right! Extremely durable, I've used these mugs exclusively and continuously for at least 10 years and have never had a chip or scratch. I routinely give a pair of these mugs as "thank you" gifts and they are always well received. Well worth the investment--they're not only functional, but works of art!

This mug is amazing...just wish it wasn't so overpriced.

Update: this was my favorite mug, but after six months the coating inside of the mug started to peel off, making me unable to use it without ingesting coating. I'm so disappointed.I've wanted one of these mugs for about two decades. They're considerably more money than I'd normally spend on an entire place setting, but MY GOD, so worth the splurge.The thick mug is a great insulator, and it keeps my hands from burning when I'm carrying tea sound the house.The clay and glaze give a really nice feel to the mug, that makes the mug a pleasure to house in your hands or you're lap while you sip hot drinks.The mugs wash easily, I frequently throw mine in the dishwasher, but they'd just so easily handwash quickly. The insides are uniform and don't slope so it's easy to get into the mug and wash everything to keep it sanitary. I love a lot of sugar in my tea, so anything that's regularly holding water and sugar is a mold breeding ground, but the wide mouth design makes cleaning easy enough I'm confident I won't get sick from mold hiding out in any nooks and crannies.The mug is designed to be thick and heavy, so you'll need a strong cupboard or mug rack to store in when it's not in use.I loved mine so much, I bought a second one to use when the first is on the dishwasher. If I could afford it, I'd buy a dozen so everyone in my family could have one, but until the day comes that I can afford more, I treasure and protect the two I have.
