How does the Energizer stack up compared to the Duracell batteries?

want my advice.....stay with energizer. I had a box of batteries that was up to 15 year old batteries. 9v, AA, AAA batteries, and both brands in button cell. Included the energizer procell 9v. Out of all the batteries, the procell were the worst at leaking and holding charge. Even the procell that expired in 2021. Out of about 250 tested, ONLY 21 were at full charge. 4 were half charge. And half the discarded ones were leaking. The original Duracell 9v, AA, and the AAA. Out of about 375 tested going back as far as 2009 to 2021, I discarded all the 2021 duracell batteries. Bad or leaked. How sad. The ones from about 1-5 years ago, kept 33, older then that, kept 3. Thats HORRIBLE stats. Duracell expected you to use them immediately anyway. Most people do. Now for energizer. Most were in the date ranges above and just a few more amounts of each tested in my box O batteries. Virtually 83% were still good!!! When I picked up an energizer....I knew it was probably a keeper still. And NONE had leaked. Not the 9v, AA, or AAA. The button cell Duracell AND energizer. I tossed all but two out of 150 checked. And the two I kept, were full charge and energizer brand. Here is the sad kicker. Out of the japaneese and China brands from the same year ranges, I bought North Tech made in Malaysia for Menards about 8 years ago. ALL 9v (120-ish) had 9.02 Volts remaining. I kept all of them, and NONE had leaked. All the AA, and AAA, still have 1.44 to 1.48 volts. (AA and AAA batteries are 1.5 volt 1000mah batteries). Also the same rating as the North Tech was the Camelion super heavy duty 0% mercury batteries. I also had about 80 AAA Sunbeam brand batteries (made by Jarden consumer solutions, canada) that lasted as well and kept 100% of what I had. PowerMax made in China, had ONE discarded at it was below 1.5 volts at .9 volts. Why do I have so many batteries. By dad needed them for his wound vac and other medical devices over a 20 year period of time. I still have THOUSANDS to test, but this is an good indication of the lasting power of battery brands listed above.
