I have been through a few cheap cases so finally decided to buy a good one. This one is a winner. It's sturdy and fits my iPhone 8 plus like a glove. It feels good in my hands - not slippery or bulky. The buttons all work as they should although you have to press a tiny bit harder on the side button than with other cases. Also, the phone works perfectly. I have bought cases in the past where people couldn't hear me well on phone calls. I suspect this case will last and even outlast the life of my phone. I also feel comfortable knowing my phone is in a highly protective case. I should have bought this case ages ago and not bothered with the cheap cases. I totally get why this case is best seller.

Received the case in a sealed brown Otterbox cardboard box. Installation was easy, however it's not very easy to take the case off. The bottom of the case, where the home button is, has a soft silicone side where you can pull back to take your phone out. I'd just leave your phone in the case and save yourself some hassle. It does add a little bit of thickness to the sides of the phone but it definitely makes me feel confident that my phone can now survive a 5 feet drop. There's a slight texture on the back of the case but it's still a little slippery at times. I've considered buying a pop socket to take care of that issue. There's also the silicone trim on the upper half of the sides all around the case. That gives your hands some traction. Today's the second day the case has been on my phone and I've noticed some dust collecting where the cut outs are for the snooze button and the bottom volume speakers and charging port but it's not a big deal. Don't hesitate to buy!, it's a good case!

This Otterbox looks like it will offer a reasonable level of protection (I have not dropped my phone yet). The rubber edges offer some grip.... however the hard plastic back is super slippery and scratches up real easy. Maybe it is just the black version, but every scratch shows, and the scratches are easy to come by. I keep my phone in my pocket and rarely leave it out on a tables etc.... and I still have a crazy number of unsightly scratches on the back.Impressed by the sense of security I feel using this case, but a good case also looks good over time. This case only does one of those things.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS CASE!I have had it for 2 years now and I wanted to come back to share my opinion. When they say this case is sturdy, ITS STURDY. My phone has been through A LOT but the case has protected it so well. There is not even a scratch on my phone. After very bad falls, the phone is only roughed up a bit which is very very impressive. It looks really nice and feels very comfortable as well as its not very bulky. It is also very easy to clean as well. The home button and volume controls are easily accessible and have soft buttons.Again, I CANNOT RECOMMEND IT ENOUGH. You will not regret it!

I hate bulky things in my pockets and have never liked an Otterbox product based on how big they are. I do like the protection they give your phone though! This case removed the bulkiness I hate and brought the protection needed. Good play OtterBox! Love this case!
