Wagner Quickstop Zd976 Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Set

Product as described.... But a few things... Brake pads were open.... Not a big deal but maybe it was a return? Repackaged? That aside the teaspoon sized brake pad anti sieze grease was dried up. The pin clips that come with it are for an older model. I have a 2017 Tacoma and the newer style pin clips are one single clip. So I reused the stock clips and the springs. The pad comes with one shim installed on the pad but Toyota stock pad uses 2 shims per pad. Not sure why this is but I did reuse the stock shims. The pad seems to be the same as stock and seems to perform as or better than the stock pad. Conclusion. I believe Toyota has not changed this pad for years so likely an older set that works with newer trucks with the exception of the newer style pin clips and shims. For under $40 it's not a big deal but I would expect when ordering a new OE set of pads they would have the newer clips and shims. I will say the stopping power is as good or better than stock.

I installed these on my 2008 Tacoma. The pads fit perfect. The spring hardware is slightly too big. I ended up breaking one trying to pry it into the hole on the pad. The kit really should come with the slider pins.

2016 Toyota 4Runner...fits well, works well, but keep your original hardware. The circlips are useless.....at least no good for my SUV.
