Solid Bluetooth Thermometer
This thermometer has been reliable and easy to use, and the readings seem accurate. The app connection is straightforward, and it’s been really helpful for grilling and smoking meats without constantly checking the food. My only complaint is that the Bluetooth range doesn’t seem quite as strong as the last thermometers my husband used. It still works fine for most situations, but the connection can drop sooner than expected if you move too far away. Other than that, it’s been a solid purchase.

TempPro Wireless Meat Thermometer - Game Changer for Multi-Level Grilling
Much more accurate than my built in Traeger probe and allows you to monitor 2 racks of ribs at once, which I didn't realize what a game changer it was until cooking on multiple levels and I saw the difference in temps. Pros: - Dual probes for monitoring multiple racks or items - Much more accurate than built-in grill probes - Bluetooth app pairing with phone or use the onboard screen - Enables better rotation and management for consistent results Cons: - None noted so far This enabled me to rotate and manage the cook way better, leading to pro-grade results on ribs and other meats. Highly recommended for anyone serious about grilling or smoking. Would I recommend? Yes, 5 stars.

Great device. Incredibly easy setup.
The speed and accuracy is incredible. But the most impressive thing is being able to turn it on, open the app, and have everything work without having to create and account just makes me want to cry with joy.

Works great, accurate, powerful features, bluetooth is limited but that's just bluetooth.
Bottom line: I love these things and they have made me feel like an expert griller though in reality I am an advanced beginner. My setup(s): I have a Weber Go Anywhere Charcoal and a Weber Master Touch charcoal grill. Got a smaller ThermoPro with just to probes for the GA when I was living in an apartment; got this one for the kettle when I moved to a house. (Loved the first ThemoPro but needed more probes and wanted wireless so I could move away from the grill on long cooks. Keeping the first one for indoor use.) I don't know what I would do without these thermometers when it comes to grilling steaks to just the right doneness, or making sure fish or poultry are properly cooked. These things are a godsend. Get each steak done just the way you want it. Know when your smoked chicken is cooked and safe. No more estimating. Now you don't guess, you KNOW. I upgraded because I wanted bluetooth and the app. More on bluetooth below. The app is quite good IMO. It lets you track the temperature on each probe with a graph (see how fast your meat is heating, watch temperature fluctuations inside your grill or smoker, etc.). I have only just started using the kettle as a smoker. I had trouble controlling the temperature — but this unit kept me apprised off when I needed to widen or narrow the vents. It also did a great job with meat temperature, as always. My criticisms are minimal. First, bluetooth is bluetooth. Meaning that it's great if you are near the unit and have direct line of sight, but it's not so great going through walls. I grill in the back,z behind the house, and I can't get the bluetooth signal in the front of the house. That's just a limitation of bluetooth but it makes me wish I'd gotten a WiFi unit instead. Second, while this has a retractable tab with a hole for hanging it on... something? (somewhere on the grill I guess), my previous ThermoPro had a magnet as well as hole for a hook. I'm sure the difference is that the housing on the older one is steel, while the new one is plastic, so it can't be exposed to as much heat. But you are sort of on your own to figure out where to hang it/put it. I am thinking that this would be a great combination with a temperature controller like a Pitmaster BBQ IQ, though you'd need to have two probes monitoring the ambient temperature, one from the ThermoPro and one from the controller, to get the benefit of both. That could take up a lot of space on the grate. Or you could spring for a much more expensive, networked, wireless-enabled controller with its own app. Maybe someday. Right now, this works just fine.

Really Nice
I own several smokers and grills and I do a lot of cooking/smoking in them all year long. I have a couple of other wireless meat thermometers where the main unit sends a signal to a wireless receiving unit and while they work well they sometimes lose the signal and then it's a bit of a pain to re-link the units again. They are older units so I thought I'd buy a new unit that has newer, current wireless technology and decided on this one as I really wanted to try a unit that connected to my Iphone 14. Well, long story short...... I love this thing. The instruction manual is easy to understand and fully explains all the features and operating instructions clearly and easily. Pairing it to my phone was as simple as scanning the barcode symbol in the instruction manual. Once I installed the APP it links up immediately with my phone as soon as I turn the thermometer on and continuously sends temperature data to my phone. The features on the APP let you choose from a variety of meats, your desired temp, turn alarm on or off, and a host of other features. The base unit (which is attached to meat you are cooking via the wired temp probe) has a little fold out support that permits it to sit upright next to the smoker or grill that you are using. I've used this unit many times and it has never once lost contact with my Iphone no matter where in my house or yard I roam. I've checked the actual displayed meat temperature against several other temperature probes I own that I know are dead on accurate and this unit is also dead on accurate when it comes to measuring the meat temperature. I really can't say enough about how well this unit works and how much I love it. It makes using my smokers and grills so much easier and efficient and I also use it when cooking meat in the house oven. Just a great wireless cooking thermometer. Get one, you won't be sorry.

Great value for a 2-channel Bluetooth grill/smoker meat thermometer!
Summary: I'm so pleased with the ThermPro TP920 that I actually bought another one for my daughter to use on her Weber! The TP920 is a solid, affordable and capable performer and I would recommend it. Meat and Taters: I own and use a more sophisticated Fireboard 4-ch Wi-Fi/BT meat thermo that also has fan control for my Akorn, so I'm familiar with the ins and outs of this type of tech. I wanted something less involved and much lower priced than the Fireboard that I could use on my Martha Stewart Grill (Smoker:)). The ThermPro fits the bill and is very affordable. The display is a perfect size and appears very high quality - the text is readable from inside with my old eyes! The probes are rather long, but are very accurate. I did the ice cube to boiling water test and both probes measured within 1.5 deg. Installation was a cinch - Unwrap the probes from the super handy storage reels, plug in to the display and she's ready to go. The BT range is well over 400' outside and stays connected anywhere in our house. I've used it for 2 smokes so far (~7 hrs total) on the initial full charge I gave it. So battery life is respectable. The TP920 is so much more portable than the Fireboard setup. No AC power needed is a big plus! The unit has great versatility for tracking a multi-hr smoke or just a short ribeye grill. The ThermoPro App I would give it 3.5stars. It has the basic core features, but I feel with a bit more work, the SW jocks could add "Sessions" with a Start/Stop and session storage. That would provide more functionality, allow for storing entire smokes and multiple notes during a smoke, which the Fireboard App does so nicely. Buy one, you'll like it!

Just as described
This was exactly what we thought it would be. It worked great. Wish the distance was a little better. Was unable to leave it inside the house (right next to garage) and have the smoke right outside without it beeping saying we were too far. I would def buy again though.

Accurate and easy to use.
I ordered this TemPro wireless meat thermometer as replacement for my old digital thermometer that quit working. This is very easy to use and after pairing it with my phone, I can easily monitor the temperature of the meat I am cooking and the inside of the grill. Rechargeable so it should last longer. The app also help changing the settings and the alarm activated when desired temperature is reached. Very good product and I will recommend this to anybody that enjoys cooking and grilling.

Perfect
We have a dual fuel oven, but when I used the probe we found out the oven couldn't even go as high as 180c. As for detecting the inner temp of meat, I guess this unit works really well and the app sync up with the main unit perfectly. But I wished I bought the 2 units so I didn't have to keep checking the app on my phone. It's a must if want your meat doneness to your liking.

This ThermoPro is amazing love it
Didn't know what to think at first but this thing works perfect have used it 4 times since i bought it and it is still full charge after showing up fully charged. the probes are great and the app was easy to find and install, is also easy to use and has more features then i thought. I am using it in a smoker and it has made a huge difference. The alarm is loud as hell witch is good had to test it. To be honest this unit is way better then i expected and it for sure gets a 5 star but it needs a 6 for a bonus as it is way better they they advertise, plus the probes get all messy and full of meat junk but clean up super easy i left one out by accident one night and it rained the next morning just the rain almost cleaned it was kinda shocked but i have to say if i need another one i will be buying this one again hands down !!

Easy to use, works great!
The meat probe connection ports are a bit tight therefore connecting a probe requires some force to push it all the way in. I wasn't aware of this and so the thermometer issued an error message and warning alarm because I did not push the probe all the way into the port. I contacted customer support via online chat and they immediately helped me determine that I had not inserted the meat probe the whole way into the port. I have had no issues since. Bluetooth connection is totally automatic and transparent as soon as the thermometer unit is powered on. I highly recommend this device!
