wrong price for same item - get AISN B075J9K44Y
This is ten times the expected price, and it's an Amazon mistake, not the usual marketplace vendor shenanigans. These are about thirty bucks, search for this AISN, it's the same thing. Not sure what happened here.Just search for this, it's the Amazon SKU -> B075J9K44YThese things are about thirty bucks. You can connect them to a $3 Chinese smart-switch (eg: Sonoff) and load Tasmota on it, presto, you have a an array of thermometers that's 32 by 24 and a polling of about once a second. No, you can't use a lens, this is far-infrared, and that is a lot longer wavelength and a lens designed for visible light will never focus it, and the glass will absorb most also. But if you've got two hundred bucks to spend and DO want to see a few hundred feet on the cheap, go find a cadillac that got rear-ended and snag the thermal camera out of the front grill. That's a four thousand dollar FLIR unit and no, not plug and play and get a nine-dollar raspberry pi and be decent with a soldering iron, and that'll work three hundred feet through fog.
