I knew these fiberglass pens were good, but this one is great!
I've never used a fiberglass pen before but I needed one for both paint chip repair on my car, as well as electronics repair where the boards are damaged. This one is terrific. A little twist, a fiberglass brush comes out, and with a few swipes of the pen rust or corrosion is gone.At this point I'm kicking myself for never having tried this technique, and the Philmore is a terrific product.

Works great
I would have given it a 5 star but they wear to fast for the money.!? Need to be 1/2” longer to last longer , otherwise excellent product

Works like a Charm
This prep pen actually looks like a pen. Easy to hold and use. I noticed a few days ago that someone had just touched (with their truck) part of my car bumper. The contact removed the paint right down to the metal. I already had touch up paint, but I know from experience that you have to feather the edges of the exposed section first. The prep pen did a great job of sanding the edges just enough. When I touched the area it was smooth. I applied the touch up paint and you can barely see where the small chip was. This pen is perfect for small imperfections--an inch or less. Highly recommend.

Handy and useful
I used this device for the first time repairing rock chops on 2 vehicles this fall. Was very easy to sand out rust and also level down first primer coating. Very useful.

Missing glass fiber cartridge refill
Pen performs fairly well. Provides the necessary sanding and detailing. Only thing is mine came with only one fiber cartridge instead of two as stated on the packaging.

A must-have if you're repairing paint chips on your car
What's to say? It's a fiberglass "eraser". It works. Just be sure you use it outdoors where the wind isn't blowing in your face. It creates a fine fiberglass dust as it works, which is dangerous for your lungs. You might want to consider getting a dust mask before you use one of these.

Did the job
I had to remove the discontinuity between a masked place and a newly painted surface on a motorcycle oil tank. It was a 1/8" inside radius I needed to work on. This did the job quickly.
