This is one of the best little lanterns I have ever owned. They are well worth the price that you pay, plus they come with the batteries included. The batteries last a long time, probably at least a couple of months for the amount of time I use them.The lantern is small, but the LEDs are very bright. It's every bit as bright as my old florescent bulb lantern and much smaller. It can easily be stored in a drawer, or fit in your camping supplies. You turn it on by pulling up to extend the lights.

Good product for its purpose but not too luminous for some people

Really bright light, its fantastic when used in the dark during camping! It uses LED CREE lights and has an amazing life expectancy (1000s of hours, unlike other lamps, no bulb to break or change, love it!)Gives off no real heat compared to bulb lanterns, really safe to be handled by children. Sturdy and love the compact size for storing at home, or in our camping equipment.And absolutely avoids an chance of fire, so really safe to use around children!Love it! Going to order a few more to give as gifts for our friends to use as well.

I bought 3 of these, I used two by far. Now I do not know wether it is the battery that comes with the product or the product it self but I was checking on them today because I wanted to go camping, and well there was a battery leakage in both of the lights, when I opened the lid that covers the batteries a fair amount of an orange liquid came pouring out and the springs located in the battery compartment corroded. I was satisfied with the product till this happened.

small sizelight is sufficient for small areas like inside a camp or small room.of you are looking for bigger room coverage this will not be sufficient, it will bring light to area but not as bright wich you expect.built quality is also decent cant sat its wow but its ok.the design is for me bit off for me specially when you hang it somewhere the base is actually blocking the light and lights are beaming to sides only.overall if you are looking for something small to carry easily have no hastle about charge (3 AA batteries) this will be an very good option.
