Is there a way to shorten the height? It's too long for my arms.

Hold it on the sides. Its mainly used as a guide. Your hands dont necessarily need to reach the upper bar.

how wide is this? trying to figure out if ill even fit in it.

24.75 inches wide inside of tubes

Is the headrest stationary or does it move? I'm looking for a stationary head rest.

I didn’t have a problem with it. There is a head rest seat for your head.
