Sticky Cursor
Straight from the box this worked to start with, nice comfortable fit in the hand, buttons easy to reach ,all in all a great mouse for those with large hands. Now for the down side after about an hour of use the cursor started to stick on the screen then move jerky across the screen. Plugged into wife's laptop and got exactly the same results. Have sent back will be ordering a replacement.UPDATE: I have just sent the second mouse back as that also has a problem with the cursor sticking on the screen and slow jerky movements. I don't know if this is because it is not in line of sight ,but it is less than 3 feet from the sensor, or perhaps it does not like windows 11. Such a shame as this mouse was perfect for those with large hands. I might give the wired version a try, but so far two mice and two returns does not bode well.

ergonomics for a nice price
I have big hands, 22cm from tip of middle vinger to wrist. I was looking for something a bit ergonomic and big enough to fill my hand. This is that! It looks nice, fills my hand. It's well made and has adjustable DPI. I can fit the receiver in a slot in the bottom without opening any covers.Only thing... why no batteries included?

A decent, inexpensive vertical mouse
I find this a very good mouse for the price. It tracks well on the desk, the angle you hold it is good, and it's responsive. I'm using it on a Mac so can't use the extra programmable buttons, and it loses a star for not having any Mac drivers, but it is otherwise good. The rubber grip where your thumb rests makes it easy to move. The mouse has got a bit of weight to it, so it feels solid while moving it around. It tracks well using it straight on a desk (a cheap Ikea desk with mock woodgrain effect), and on paper, notebook covers, and any other random desk matter that's been around when I've needed to use it.To compare against other vertical mice - it's got a better feel than the Anker one. It is not as good as the Evoluent ones, but is about 20% of the cost, so I think it compares well. I'm using it in my part time office and have an Evoluent at home, and if you just want to try a vertical mouse, go with this Perixx one over the more expensive offerings as this will tell you whether a vertical mouse is for you or not without breaking the bank.I've got large hands and don't have a problem with that some other reviewers have. The tips of my fingers are past the ends of the buttons when I fully palm the mouse, so I'm using it with a slight finger curl when clicking. If you have large hands and absolutely must have a mouse that fits, I can recommend the Evoluent 4.If you need your hand to be very upright, go for an Evoluent model instead. This has your hand tilted over slightly and it's not a problem for me, but if you need your hand to be 90° up from the desk, this won't do it for you but the Evoluent will.Overall the Perimice-518R is a very decent vertical mouse. Well worth trying if you're interested in whether a vertical mouse can help you.
