Love the book , it’s a perfect way thing to read if your thinking about starting a garden your own, Either inside growing or outside !! She’s goes step by step in this book and also on her YouTube videos ! I highly recommend Kim’s book to all gardeners , if your a beginner or experience gardener, you will learn something new, Kim gave me the confidence to start my garden and expand it fully , I started small last year and now I have made my back yard the most popular horn on the block and the inside of my home a jungle! I wouldn’t change it for the world because I’ll learned how to also cann all my garden magic die the winter and I get itchy if I am not growing anything, Take the experience read the book, thank Kim later!

I'm so happy I bought this book! I normally do a little herb garden but this year I've had more time on my hands. I wanted to branch out into vegetables but I had no clue how to start. I didn't want to spend a bunch of money and have nothing to show for it. I bought this book after watching videos on CaliKim's youtube channel (which I also recommend as well as the seed mixes you can buy on her website) and it was a great purchase. She shares a lot of information but really simplifies it so that it feels do-able. There are easy to follow instructions accompanied with step-by-step photos that help you see what things are supposed to look like, and lists of supplies to either buy or find around the house. I set up a grow light for my seedlings and I may even give drip irrigation a try because she makes it so easy to know what to buy and how to set it up. There are lots of pretty pictures which is a must for me in any how-to/ cookbook. This books takes you from seed to harvest, season to season. I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to grow his or her own produce year-round.

The format and photos are stunning! Kim's enthusiasm is contiguous. Anyone can get started having delicious meals. Makes growing veggies a delightful experience for the whole family. Amazing & easy to read. Start your plants in the house & watch then grow everyday. CaliKim has done it all, even in small places! Her advice is incredibly helpful for our gardening experience!
