Easy fit does the job

These are now making my boot lid stay open, in fact they are uplifting it as well.

I suppose they have to bed in so to speak as they are a little stiff but after a few uses they've became more smooth, they help my boot go up when its half way but the first bit of the way i have to help with which makes sense as these aren't the struts that make your boot go straight up when you unlock it i suppose.Worth the money as they are a massive improvement from my old and i can confirm these fit a 2013 Focus and take 2 minutes to install.Update - thought they would loosen up with use but nope, these lift my boot if i help it to half way then it will struggle a little before flying up, so they work but only if you help it so defeats point really, pay extra for some better ones.Final update - they are now just as bad as my previous ones, complete waste of money! don’t even open my boot anymore without me pushing it fully up myself just like my old one or it just stops, look elsewhere for more expensive ones.

Good replacement and easy to fit but these strutz are very stiff!I have to push the boot all the way up otherwise it will stop wherever I take my hand off leaving a chance to catch your head on the boot.Stiff shutting the boot too, although this stops the boot slamming shut it’s still stiffer than I’d like having to pull the boot all the way shut.Maybe these will loosen a little with use?

Perfect replacement gas struts for the boot. Great price. Straight swap for the old ones. Hold the the boot lid open fully now. Would highly recommend.
