The Rider's Reign

The Rose Legacy trilogy is a mystical and yet realistic fantasy adventure. The characters are relatable, and they each have their distinct personality, as do the horses. You get to see inside the horses’ minds, such as Florian, Constantine, and Bluebell. Their points of view and conversations are entertaining to read, as are the rest of the characters’ conversations. The villains are more realistic villains, making you feel as if they’re truly real, in a land faraway, but still on the globe, although they’re really only in the world that the author creates for us to read about. The books are all captivating, interesting, and beautifully written. It’s worth getting the set. Each one has one or more plot twists, which fit perfectly into the story. Each transition and ending of the chapters are perfect parts to stop, and the parts vary in length, but not too much so that they’re not totally random, which is nice. Each book is wonderfully written and entertaining, and worth getting.

My 10-year-old daughter loves this series, as well as the others by Jessica Day George. Clean and appropriate writing--difficult to find in today's world! Great stories! We love her writing!

Kids were so excited to get this book for Christmas. (We own the other two) That one of them had it finished in less then 2 days. LOL, It is apparently really good.

I read the book and enjoyed it very much!
