Hip Hop 50's Shop 1950s Girls 4 Piece Poodle Skirt Costume Outfit for Kids with Accessories (glasses, socks, scarf)

I’m having a blast dressing my kid up in decade clothes!! My 10 year old had a 50s party, and of course, had to go all out! Got the Large skirt, which fit her perfectly—she’s a 10-12 normally in bottoms, and a 12-14 in tops. So the Large size was plenty big enough! If you have a larger bottoms child, the skirt MAY be too small, as the elastic waist only stretches so big! The length hit about at her calves, which was perfect!Someone said the socks didn’t fit their older child, but they’re plenty big—not for a toddler at all, unless your toddler has really big feet! Which can happen! My 10 year old wears a 2.5-3 in shoe size and the socks fit perfectly! The chiffon scarf was a PERFECT accessory for around the neck, and the ADORABLE glasses just made the whole outfit!! Only thing this set is missing is the Peter Pan shirt and saddle shoes, but just look at the similar items and you’ll find the right shirt and shoes! It also doesn’t come with the belt, which I purchased separately too! Fast shipping (I did one-day just in case I had to return the outfit), but this 50s Shop seems to have everything you need!! You won’t be disappointed!!

Awesome! I ordered this item for my petite 9 year old daughter for May Day this year. (I ordered the medium) Her grade was representing the 50s this year. I am a horrible procrastinator so I ordered this on Tuesday and it arrived on Thursday. (Yay Amazon Prime) The skirt is a felt material with a very nice, well made poodle embellishment. The socks that come along with it are also super cute with a matching pink poodle on the cuff. Size-wise the socks were just a smidge big, but my 9 year old is rather small. The pink, plastic glasses are well made with clear plastic lenses. The scaf is a very sheer, lightweight material which was also well made. Definitely a 10 out of 10 for quality. Yes, this is a little more pricey than the cheap stuff you buy at say a Party City but WELL worth the money if you want your little one to stand out. I did buy a black petticoat from another vendor on Amazon as, due to my procrastination, the one from this vendor would not arrive on time.

We purchased this for a 1950s themed chorus concert. The elastic waistband was great. My daughter is on the slim side. She typically wears a 10 in jeans (Old Navy). The medium fit her great. She was so happy when she put it on. The skirt looks great when you twirl with it as well (they had dance moves as part of the concert). The teal color was very nice too. This was great quality for the price.

This set was very cute. I purchased the top separately. The skirt and socks fit perfect. The skirt has the elastic waist so it's more about length when purchasing. For reference my daughter is 11 and I purchased according to the chart and it fit her fine. I'm glad I went with this one. The glasses are super cute but my daughter didn't want to wear them. I didnt end up using the scarf but it was also good quality. The socks ran true to size. I would recommend this set. Worth the price.

The quality of the skirt, glasses, and scarf is great. We ordered the deep teal color and it's quite beautiful. I took off one star because the socks would only fit (maybe) a 5-6 year old and border on toddler sizes, but we ordered a girls size 10-12, and most girls have adult shoe size 6-7 by that age! Since the socks are completely unwearable, the costume goes down a star rating.We love this costume, but be aware that (as I now see listed in the item description) you do not get all that's pictured. No shirt. No petticoat. When you add in those other costs, this costume is quite expensive.Are we glad we bought it? Absolutely! My daughter is thrilled. 💕😀

This was a the cutest outfit for my daughter to wear to a themed Daddy/daughter dance. She was comfortable, it fit great and she had a blast! The quality is great!

I couldn't be happier with this purchase! I bought it for my daughter's 50th day of school celebration. The quality is fantastic, not cheap looking at all. The sizing is accurate. My daughter is 5yo, in kindergarten, but she is the tallest in her class at 47". She wears 6x-7. We didn't want the skirt too long so I ordered the small. It fit her perfectly! She didn't wear a petticoat or anything to make the skirt fuller but it still had a nice roundness and swing to it. The socks, scarf and glasses are great accessories that completed her look! She really wanted black glasses so we purchased them separately. She looked so adorable and received so many compliments. We are extremely satisfied with everything and can't recommend this enough!
