Not universal threads.
I ordered these to attach to bed slats that have metal mounting plates. These did not fit. The threads are specific to their brand of mounting plates and the threaded metal is very short. I tried to return but was only given a small fraction of the cost back due to some sort of restocking??? I had never heard of that before so am stuck with 3 of these.
