DERMA-E Sensitive Skin Moisturizing Cream – Gentle, Unscented Daily Face Moisturizer – Soothing Facial Cream with Pycnogenol and Vitamins A, C and E - Reduces Redness and Irritation, 2 oz

This is easily the best facial moisturizer I have ever used, and that's saying something considering the skin struggles I have had since my teens. I have mild rosacea that was finally diagnosed when I was 27 (I'm 28 now). I use this cream in combination with a prescription sulfur/sodium sulfacetamide cleanser and metronidizole cream. I use this derma e cream on top of the prescription metro cream after it has absorbed (about 5 minutes), both morning and evening. In the morning I then add Neutrogena Dry Touch sun screen on top and that's it! If I want to use foundation I use Eau Thermale Avene Haute Protection Tinted Compact makeup. My face is so clear, that sort of gorgeous skin effect that I never thought was possible, because so frequently when my skin is good it still has a congested effect. I haven't had a single breakout since trying this derma e cream, and my redness is very controlled. Rosacea is never "cured," it's always a process of preventing flare ups and taming the inflammation. I'll continue using this derma e cream if it keeps working for me as it is currently. Note that I already had good skin due to my prescription products before trying this, but my previous favorite moisturizer (Eau Thermale Avene Cicalfate cream) wasn't working as well for me on a daily basis anymore, and the derma e cream got my skin to the place I wanted it to be. If you have sensitive redness prone skin / rosacea (the stereotypical Irish skin) consider giving this a try, but make sure you're using other products that target your skin concerns. My only complaint is sometimes it's not quite as moisturizing as I want it to be, but that could be solved with a spritz of thermal spring water perhaps. All in all, great product!

I swear this stuff is the best face cream I've ever used. It feels good going on and the scent is not offensive, and as a person allergic to petroleum products it is hard for me to find something that doesn't cause my skin to break out. Probably the very best part of using this though, is that my skin looks fantastic. I've tried a lot of different things, but this is the cream I keep coming back to, for one thing the really high Vitamin E content keeps my skin looking fabulous - and at 45 it is nice to be mistaken for about 10-15 years younger than I am (mind you I have never been a fan of suntanning) I've been using this since I was 40. I used it not only on my face but when I have an injury to my skin because it seems to help the skin heal much faster and more thoroughly. I've found it useful as a healing balm for my family, when they've not been mindful of their skin and the weather. I expect I will use it until I stumble across something even better, but I am not actively searching for another product. I have also used it in the gel format, but I find that I like the feeling of the creme better.This is a really good product.

I have extremely sensitive skin and I have been experiencing horrible rashes/maskne almost like chemical burns. In desperation I tried this and it does seem to soothe or at least not irritate my skin when it is all reactive. It does moisturize fairly well but I also experienced extremely dry, flaky skin this winter and it wasn't quite moisturizing enough on its own, so I layered it with other products. It has a slight tint which is sort of medium light skin tone, and I find this helps a bit with masking redness which can be helpful if you can't wear make up like foundation due to sensitivity. It also leaves a matte finish which may be a positive for some people but for me, I prefer a more dewy finish so that is one thing i dislike about this product. It does sometimes bead into waxy particles but that is usually when I layer with the Derma-e scar gel and perhaps use too much of both. It also goes really fast, like half the jar seems to be gone after using once daily for a couple weeks. So it's not perfect, but I did buy a 2nd jar when my skin became reactive again and again it helped the healing of my skin.

I’m 69 years old and have used this moisturizer off and on for several years depending on how much I wanted to spend on a night cream at the moment. I’ve been using an expensive GOOPGENES face cream, which I love, but it’s $$$$! Since I wanted to reduce my cost this month, I decided to go back to this moisturizer for the time being. This is a fairly lightweight, unscented moisturizer that can be used both a.m. & p.m. on your face and neck. I’ve never had a problem with redness or irritation after using this moisturizer and I’ve never had a quality control problem with Derma-E products ordered from Amazon. Based on the known quality of Derma-E products and the reasonable cost, I highly recommend this moisturizer even for those who do not have sensitive skin.

This is one of the best face moisturizers I've ever used. I waited to rave just in case, but it has been over 2 months and I still love it. It's not heavy, it absorbs into my skin well, and it doesn't clog my pores at all or make me break out or itch. Most other face creams have done at least one if not more of those things, so to find one that actually makes my skin feel BETTER after putting it on is amazing! It is lightweight so it will be perfect in the warmer weather, so the only downside is I have to use extra in the winter when my face is dry and I go through it faster, but it still lasted me 2 and a half months, so I'm ok with that! I also use the Derma-E sensitive skin cleanser and I recommend that too.I bought one for my mother-in-law who also has very sensitive skin and buys products with no fragrance, tries to stay as natural as possible, and she absolutely loves this product as well. She said it actually absorbs into her skin and she likes that it doesn't wash off from just splashing water on her face, which is a good thing!

I have sensitive skin and this cream is excellent. I use it with a serum and love how it makes my skin feel.

Not happy about the no return policy on this product. I have sensitive skin but couldn't use this product because it made my face itch and turn red. Throwing away money doesn't make me happy. As a consumer I think I should be able to return an product I'm allergic to.Buyer beware!

Ordered this cream as there appears to be no nasties in it.Good amount of vitamins.Also as somebody who reacts to most face creams this I can recommend does not inflame the skin.Reasonable price too.

Product itself is good. Not crazy about the fragrance although I'm sure product is marketed as fragrance free.

Benutze die Creme jetzt seit ca. 2 Wochen. Kann noch keine bahnbrechende Veränderung feststellen, aber ich finde die Creme sehr angenehm. Man braucht nur ganz wenig und die Haut fühlt sich "erfrischt" an. Was richtig nervig war: ich musste die Creme beim Zollamt abholen. Problem war wohl, dass zum einen die Rechnung nicht außen an der Packung angebracht war. Zum anderen fallen wohl ohnehin bei einem Warenwert von über XX Euro (weiß den genauen Betrag nicht mehr) Zollgebühren an. Das waren ca. 8 Euro, Fahrerei, Wartezeit etc. Insofern kommt dieses Produkt - zumindest von diesem Verkäufer - für mich nicht mehr in Frage.

I wanted a moisturiser that wasn't greasy and left no residue behind but soaked straight into the skin. This definitely filled all my requirements. It left my skin well moisurised and calmed down some problem areas. It is like a gel texture that absorbs really quickly. I love it and would definitely recommend it.
