Replacement Keyless Remote Fob Key Shell Case Replacement Fit For Fit For 2019-2020 Ram 1500（4-Button)

Used this on my 2020 ram 1500 worked great. Had to take the guts out and put them inside this pod. I ended up somehow ripping the rubber off on my old factory key fob so I got this to replace the old shell. Took me maybe about 15 minutes to install everything with all the right tools, hoping I wasn’t hitting the panic alarm because it was late at night when I did it. Works great and looks good! Highly recommend if your key fob gets messed up somehow!

Mybwife destroyed her fob so I had to replace the front side. Taking my old fob apart was the hard part. Once I had the guts removed, it was an easy transfer. To make sure it was functional I removed the battery and press it against my push to start button in my truck. Everything worked fine. Easy reassembly!

Short version: It worked as intended, but it seemed that I got a slightly used unit.Two keys came with this truck that were quite busted (left fob). The dealership gave me a new fob (right), and they gave me the two busted fobs. I ordered this cover / housing to see if I could repair the fob instead of purchasing additional fobs. The cover / housing arrived quickly. It was quick and painless to change out the housing parts needed. My only gripe (minor) was that the housing looked slightly used. You may be able to see what looks like wear on the middle fob. Also, some of the plastic that connects the tabs on the inside of the fob was cracked/broken (another sign that it could have been used).Ultimately, the unit snapped together well and integrated nicely with the OEM/factory components, and it was MUCH cheaper than buying a new fob!

Fob cover is perfect. You will need a micro torx screwdriver for this particular one.

Arrived very quick. Took my factory fob apart and went to put guts in this one and re-assemble and it would not hardly go back together or hold the key in the end. Have to really jam it in there. I would not buy again.

This key fob came without instructions. I carefully took it apart and took my old one apart. You have to use the electronic part from your old one in the new one. This fob is just a housing. It does work well once all is swapped out.
