Helpful When the Video Card Hogs Two Slot Spaces
My double-wide video card hogs two spaces on the MB and it just so happened that the PCI port I needed to use for a controller card needed that slot. This cable made it all work. I have a Dell 9020 Mid Tower PC and the older MBs were not set up to work well with the new VGAs of today which have a large cooling fan. This cable was a lifesaver. Note: you can get a "riser card" for the video cards but its MUCH more expensive. Its a tight fit for the cable connector to fit into the slot AND be under the video card but so far so good. No issues with data transfer.

Better than most extension cables
I previously used an extension cable that consisted of two ribbon cables much like what's on an old-time IDE cable (not the fancy Ultra DMA but the even older kind) and that unit caused a considerable amount of errors picked up by the WHEA logger and even caused BSODs.This cable on the other hand works perfectly, and appears to be constructed a lot more rugged, providing a perfect signal to the connected card.

Extended my wifi card.
I have the thermaltake P3 case and it has an option to mount the GPU remote with an extension. The only way I could add my WIFI/bluetooth card was with an extension that wasnt included. This extension works perfectly. The only thing that blows me away is that the extension cable cost more than my wifi 6.0 with bluetooth 5.0 card... how can a bit of wire with a plug cost more than a computer card? Regardless, it works and I had no other option.

As described but very stiff
The product works fine and I have not had any issues with it after using it. But it is hard to bend and due to this, it puts a lot of stress on my PCIe port. I would recommend it but don't expect it to be the greatest thing ever.
