The only relief I can usually get is with the prescription lidocaine 5% patches. Unfortunately they are no longer covered by insurance and the prescription ones are insanely and ridiculously expensive. Over the counter 4% patches are awful. They don’t stick well and hardly help. I have found this cream to be helpful with my pain.

This smells nice and I was really looking forward to some pain relief, but after 4 applications I'm still not getting any relief, even momentary! I still have hopes but the throbbing and limited use of my hand continues.

I use this religiously for laser hair removal: bikini underarm and lower legs…it is a world of difference, you still feel it, but when I didn’t use it it felt like death by 1000 sawing knives with me near crying…then after I found it, I am slightly uncomfortable still but much more manageable.•HOWEVER, it takes TWO HOURS of numbing the area prior to your session, NOT one hour like it states. •Also, wrap the area in plastic wrap after applying, soaks in better. Big help.•Don’t put on huge areas (like both whole legs) as you aren’t supposed to have that much on at once. I break up my sessions, lower legs, then come back next day, upper legs, etc.

I was hoping to get this one to work better instead of the patches. I didn't like the mess it makes. Tis not very strong as well. I wanted to be able to apply to where the patches would not hold. This is not as great as advertised.
