Works really well. Wore them on my sneakers all winter.
Bought a pair for my mum and a pair for me. Well the sizing is a bit small and I exchanged the small for an XL. Other than that they work really well. The town I am in right now doesn't plow the streets so there was about 4 inches of compacted ice on all of the roads. You could practically skate on it if it weren't for the embedded gravel. But I digress. These chains work great on my sneakers and while I had a few slippy moments they kept me from wiping out all winter. And they didn't break!

These are a must for anyone who has slipped and fallen on hard packed snow and ice during the winter months. I live in northern Idaho and our winters can be pretty brutal. A couple of years ago I bought a pair of the regular YakTrax and I love them for mild winter weather but they were not cutting it for walking on our icy sloped driveway. I slipped and fell with them on. My Sister in Law told me to check out the chains, which I hadn't heard of. I did a Google search and sure enough YakTrax had the Ice Trekkers. I wear a women's size 9 and I got medium. I was worried that they would be too small to fit over my winter snow boot, but they weren't. I put them on my boots before I put the boots on my feet. The first one was a bit difficult but after I learned how they were supposed to fit the second one went on fairy effortlessly. I decided to do a trial run and headed out to the driveway. I did not slip, slide, or feel unsafe walking on the ice or in the deep snow. I like how the rubber comes up high over front of the boot and molds to it's shape for a snug fit. They will not come off, which was a problem I had with the regular YakTrax. These are well made and definitely worth the price.

Haven't slipped once!
I love to walk but in Colorado in the winter it sometimes impossible when the snow melts and the streets turn to ice. Even with a really good walking stick with a sharp tip I'd still travel 1/5 the speed that I can now with my yak tracks. These have made it possible for me to enjoy walking in the winter again. absolutely love them. Well-made, easy to put on and takeoff, and I'm sure has saved my ass on several occasions if I hadn't had them. If needed, I'd buy them again in a heartbeat!

They work
Great chains they work well but if you live in area that uses alot of salt make sure you clean them otherwise they will rust and break.

Fit
I like the cleats but very misleading on the shoe size they will fit. They said size 15 and above on the ones i ordered,I have a size 14 boot and they could'nt be stretched far enough to fit that boot.
