Skinny flat feet? Read this!
First off, these fit perfectly. They are cute and comfortable, so far. I am a new Chaco purchaser so am excited to see how the comfort is throughout my work day. I have a very difficult time finding shoes that fit, I have flat skinny feet, I mean really skinny. Most sandals or heels I buy, my feet end up slipping out of! Even with an ankle strap. Has been super frustrating my whole life. The discription said these were adjustable, well that was an understatement! The straps slip through the sole allowing you to adjust the toe loop, the criss-cross straps and the ankle strap. For once my feet are securely in place and they are super cute! Note, because of my aforementioned skinny flat feet, the strap is all the way to the buckle, this left a long piece of strap dangling on the ground. Solution, I folded the strap and used a small rubber band to secure (see photo). Problem solved. If these continue to provide comfort, I WILL be buying more.

Great sandal!
I wear a size 11 in Chacos. These fit as they should and are super comfortable. I’ve worn them frequently, and for different situations, hiking, kayaking, on the beach…and were my “go-to” sandals after I broke my ankle and was able to take my walking boot off. Very stable and snug on my foot, once I got the straps adjusted ad I liked them. Definitely love these!

Perfect shoe. Runs narrow
This is my first pair of Chacos and I am now a huge fan! Wore them on a day trip to a creek and hiking through a lava cave and up and down stairs. I am amazed. The tread is stiff and provides the stability of a hiking boot. We were constantly walking over super uneven and pointy lava rocks and I didn’t feel a thing! Then we went to a creek and we’re walking on slippery rocks in the water and they were perfect. I did get some small rocks from the creek in between the straps and my toe but I just loosened them up a bit to allow the rocks rinse out and that worked perfectly. Sizing: I usually wear an 8.5 and have a pretty wide foot. Reviews said they ran a little long so I ordered an 8 wide. The length is perfect but the shoe still feels a little bit narrow where the tear strap hits the outside of my foot at the sole. However, this was my first time wearing them and I am expecting them to break in and foresee these being my favorite shoes! They are super super cute and feminine too 💛

Great, but not for big toes
I've had these sandals a few years now. I would wear them all the time, but after 5 min the straps tighten uncomfortably on my big toes. Doesn't matter how much I adjust the straps, it does the same thing. I wish I could exchange them for a pair that doesn't go around those toes. Otherwise, they are very sturdy and comfortable once you get used to the idea of not walking around on memory foam.

Read reviews before ordering
Lightweight with decent arch support; these do need a gradual breaking in however. The straps can be adjusted for better fit and comfort, though wide feet may find them too narrow. They are true to size BUT as others have mentioned they are listed incorrectly. These are women’s sandals so order your normal size. I have included a photo for proof. Chacos have been recommended for lasting a long time so I intend to get my use out of them. They’re stylish enough to wear with almost anything and great for travel.

A great first pair of Chacos!
These were my first pair of Chacos, and I admit there was a learning curve to learn all there was to know about the different soles, straps, replacement program, etc. etc. After figuring out which type of sole and size fit me best (lots of questions to friends and visits to local outdoor stores), I found the best sole/strap/color combination for me online. I love this colour combination.... the teal and salmon are interesting colours but neutral enough that I can wear them with most casual outfits. It took a week or two to get used to the straps, adjust them to the right tightness, and break in the footbeds. If there is anyone else getting Chacos for the first time, know that it can be uncomfortable the first week or so until the footbeds conform to your feet and you find the right strap tension. As one outdoor store staff warned, I developed some serious callouses where my feet rub against the arched part of the insole (I have low arches), but they don't hurt and the fit has improved the more I've broken them in. Since breaking them in, they have been my go-to shoes! I love that they are easy to slip on (no hands!), and that the straps and thick soles give me confidence that I can walk on most surfaces safely. I have worn them to do lots of walking in urban settings, wet pavement, through puddles and streams, along unpaved dirt and gravel paths, and even some light hiking. As a scientist who can sometimes find herself in outdoor/wet settings with little warning, I love that these shoes give me the flexibility to walk where I need to safely. Love these!

Back heel strap is not adjustable -- too loose
I was really excited to get these Chacos because I'd heard they're fully adjustable -- however, that doesn't apply to the back heel strap! That part is not adjustable at all, and as such, it's incredibly loose on me. You can see in the photos how much excess strap fabric is gaping behind my heels. The footbeds themselves are truly comfortable, but I don't see how these are wearable on me with that very loose back heel strap. Also, when I tighten the sandals to fit my feet, the pull-strap becomes way too long and drags on the ground in an unattractive way that I'm sure is going to get dirty and frayed. There's got to be a better solution.

Están muy cómodas, tienen buen soporte y los tirantes también están cómodos. La tira final es algo larga pero no se mete abajo de la suela al caminar
