ProactivAdvanced Daily Oil Control, 2.5 Fluid Ounce

My first proactiv purchase… And I’m not a teenager. I was looking for a salicylic acid moisturizer for my very adult, oily skin. This one seems to fit the bill perfectly. I’ve tried many others… And although I’ve not been prone about breakouts for about 30 years, with oily skin using the wrong product can often result in isolated blemishes. And yet, as I’ve gotten older, some moisturizer is necessary to balance the skin. This seems to fit the bill perfectly. The salicylic acid prevents blemishes and the moisturizer is just the right amount for my aging, yet still oily skin. I use it under make up every day. And have been doing so for several months now with great results.

I use Proativ's original 3-step without any issues, but this stuff smells horribly strong! If you already have acne prone sensitive skin, stay away from this one. I tried it on my wrist first, and I can still smell it on me!

Love this product!! I was happy to be able to buy the oil control without buying the whole proactiv system. This product in combination with using dove bar soap to cleanse my face, and eliminating dairy from my diet has completely transformed my skin. I used to have pretty bad breakouts around my chin/jaw area all the time, but I hardly get any now, just a few little zits here and there. Thank you Proactiv.

It didn’t control the shiny parts of my face and didn’t control the oil as much as I had hoped. I’m 48 years old with very oily skin and this product just didn’t cut it for me :-(

I really like this product it makes my oil production about half of what is normal. But as others said it seems to “wear off” half way through the day. The instructions say to reapply but that doesn’t work if you wear makeup.I like it but I wished it lasts longer
