Q: Compared to M510 what better suits a larger hand ? M510 Cramps my hand & G700 is slippery.

I had the M705 and returned it in favor of the M510, and part of the reason was that the M705 felt too small for my hand. (I don't have super-large hands, either.) I couldn't use the 705 without a wristpad, or my hand would cramp. The 510 feels more comfortable to me. The other thing about the M705 was that clicking the buttons felt like it took too much effort.

Q: I'm left-handed. Is this mouse ambidextrous?

While I am not ambidextrous, I am right-handed but use the mouse in my left. I've had the M705 for a couple of years, and actually find it pretty comfortable and easy to use in my left hand. The thumb on the right stabilizes the mouse for accurate movement, and with the fingers on the left, I get more flexible for hitting the buttons. I can position 2 fingers onto 2 buttons, each of which is programmable, for faster operation.

Q: is this a larger mouse? could you give the measurments, from the bottom?

The mouse is larger - 4.3" long by 2.7" wide. But since it's cupped on the side for the thumb and angled over the top to fit a hand naturally (right-handed only), it doesn't feel as large as it looks.

Q: Why such a price difference between the packaging " see -through" and boxed ? Is the actual content the same?? Regards, Gavin

Looks like there's 2 different part numbers:910-001229 - boxed910-001935 - clear clamshellI googled "Logitech + part #" and the 1229/boxed version came up on the logitech website as a packaged keyboard + mouse.The 1935/clamshell came up as the standalone mouse.Maybe logitech made too many of the 1229 parts for a mouse/keyboard combo and decided to just sell them alone?If part numbers are always increasing, I would assume that the 1935 version would be more recent, although that doesn't necessarily mean that there's any design difference.
