NO more backseat kicking!!!!
This is one of the best inventions for children ridding who have to ride in a carseat. We just thought he was constantly kicking our seats because he was bored, but after installing this footrest I can't get him outta the car! He is super content and comfortable and NO more kicking or bucking in the backseat!!!!! We use this in conjunction with a seat protector and a giant Chicco car seat (newborn-65lbs) and you can't tell the difference. The car seat doesn't sit uneven or loose. We luv it so much that purchased another one for other vehicle for 14+ hour trip and afterwards will see if works with his highchair (Graco Blossoms 4-in-1). We have the seat attached to one of our wooden dinning set chairs and he does the same thing at the table...kicking and no attention span and always want to prop up his legs on my legs or the table. :( the plastic is very thick and sturdy. My 42lb 2yr old boy has tested it out more than once! Really quick and easy to install with latch system in my vehicle. I really like that it passed/exceeded so many USA and foreign testing/standards. Excellent product for the price!

Great product that didn't disappoint!
We were going on a long hail road trip of over 4,000 miles and wanted my five year old to be comfortable for the trip. He's tall and I usually see him sitting cross- legged on road trips in his booster seat. I figured he would be much more comfortable with the footrest since his legs wouldn't be dangling. He absolutely loved it! It's easy to use (he likes lowering and raising it himself) and very sturdy.I was impressed with the product. Usually these type of things are dirt cheap and break easily. Happy to say this was not the case. It's a breeze to set up and When not in use it folds flat out of the way so kids can climb in and out of the seat. I had planned on removing it after the trip but a near mutiny from my son made me change my mind. The only real negative I have is that the space where his legs sit between footrest mount is a bit narrow but he doesn't seem to mind. Trust me.... He'd be the first to bring it to my attention. Also, people without the built in metal clips in their rear seats for a child car seat may have a bit more difficulty mounting it. The kit does come with a conversion kit for other seat types.I drive a 2008 silverado crew cab and my wife has a Acura TL. It fits great in both vehicles. Its a little snug against the front seat of the Acura but it works. I can't see any car having a backseat to small for this to fit.

Great product! No more painful knees from dangling legs.
I started searching for a foot rest for my 4 year old daughter, because she was constantly putting her feet up against the back of the seat in front of her. It drove me crazy until she explained that her legs hurt. Both my kids LOVE this product because it eliminates the force of gravity on their knees. As grown-ups, we don't appreciate how uncomfortable it is to constantly have your legs dangling. Could you imaging sitting with your legs dangling for a 3-hour car ride? Not cool. The PROS: This product is designed to eliminate the stress of weight on a child's knees and is adjustable to accommodate children up to age 6. It is intuitive to use and easy to set up. The footrest is adjustable in two ways, the height can be raised and lowered at 1.5 cm increments for a total range of 41.5 cm, and the angle of the footrest can be changed at 15 degree increments for total range of 150 degrees. The height is adjusted by a sliding a locking mechanism in the foot plate, which locks onto the vertical bars. The angle is adjusted by pressing two white buttons on both sides of the footrest to make it pivot up or down. These adjustments can be made in seconds. When my kids are not in the car and I need the floor space, I adjust the footrest so that it is completely vertical and not sticking out.The CONS: Not much. This is a footrest, not a step stool. If your kid is heavy and he or she decides to start stomping on it or jumping on it, it might break. That being said, my two girls, ages 3 (about 30 lbs) and 5.5 (about 40 lbs), often step on it as they climb into their seats (instructions say not to allow this), and we have never had any problems. My only complaint has to do with the fixing pins that attach the bars to the base plate that rests on the seat of your vehicle. They are small (translation: easy to lose) and they have come out before (presumably pulled out by a curious child). If the little pin goes missing, the product is unusable. Fortunately, the company that sells this product was very kind and accommodating in providing a replacement piece for me. I have since learned that a good way to avoid losing these pins to curious hands is to put duct tape around them. I haven't had a problem since I did that.

Not sure if I would spend this much money for this
So I wanted to love this but it is not meant for any child heavy over 30 lbs cuz it’s flimsy plastic and with a 2 hr drive my kid said her legs hurt being in that position. There are slots that determine leg height can’t be adjusted specific to your child’s needs so knees might be bent or hanging as if nothing was there

Perfect car seat accessory
My daughter is a tall 31/2 year old. When in the car seat her legs hang or she attempts to squish them on the 1 inch border of seat not covered by her car seat. I had attempted boxes, bags.... to help keep her feet from hanging but they were always in the way. The Car Seat Footrest and Booster Seat Footrest is perfect. Her feet now rest comfortably and car rides are more enjoyable. She wasn't complaining about her feet, but once we installed the footrest, on the first trip she said, "mom, I like the table." I plan to use this when I move her to a booster seat as well. Even better, it can easily be adjusted and even folded down. I can't help but think about how it feels to have my feet dangling for long periods of time vs propping them up on a foot rest. Another plus was that it was easy to install.
