CrayolaSilly Scents Twistables, Scented Crayons & Colored Pencils, School Supplies, 72 Count [Amazon Exclusive]

I bought these for my 6 year old when she was tired of her crayons breaking. The colors are super vibrant and they smell so good.

Two stars. The smells are lovely. Would be ideal for an adult or only child however these pencils are not durable for small children who drop them, or are playful while coloring as we have experienced the inner color comes loose very easily. Could just be a ‘lemon’ box? Or, just that these are more suitable for a very calm artist ? I don’t want to dissuade you from buying but perhaps knowing who you’re purchasing for is helpful. I have never had such an experience before with crayola twistables… so not sure why this box was a problem. Maybe a different recipe for the scented one?

My boys, 3 and 8 years old, absolutely love these! My 8 year old is excited to do any sort of writing practice just so he can smell what he wrote. Great strong scents! Definitely artificial smelling, so not totally accurate smells, but still fun!

My boy is learning to color and draw and these are great. They’ve got plenty of colors to choose from, great grip and easy to handle. I was really worried about the smell because I am very picky, but I must admit they have a great smell. I’ve always been a Crayola lover and always will be. 100% recommended.

The smell gets to me after a while, but my 5 year old loves them for homework. We found that crayons were breaking and it was getting hard to find the colors she needed. These keep very well, shes able to practice holding it well for neater writing, and will last the rest of the school year and beyond.
