Es la mejor taza, definitivamente para quienes somos adictos al café bueno y caliente
Había buscado mucho tiempo una buena, definitivamente ya me quedo con esta marca. No manchas, café caliente y no te quemas, resistente y bonita. Eso sí, no es lo más económico del Mercado pero vale la pena por la calidad.

Function Meets Fashion Meets Coffee
Upon receiving the Bodum Bistro Double-Wall Glass 15-Ounce it instantly became my favorite coffee mug, and months later it retains that title.Like some of you, I like my coffee HOT, though as I don't stand in the kitchen drinking it, I need to be able to carry the mug into the living room or the office. With a standard mug the coffee will heat the ceramic or glass so the only thing you can touch is the handle which isn't the most stable way to carry a full cup. Spillage occurs. With Bodum's double-walled glass the outside of the mug remains cool to the touch, allowing you to wrap your hand around the entire mug, burn-free.Another function of the double-walled glass its the ability to keep your hot beverage hot longer, or keep your cold beverage cold longer, and minus the messy condensation, too (no need for coasters with this mug), since the inner glass doesn't allow for the rapid heat exchange with the ambient temperature as a standard mug does. The mug is made of borosilicate glass which is sturdier than regular glass. I've seen more than a few complaints about people breaking the mugs rather easily, but what they don't realize is how sturdy the mug is for how thin the glass is. There are ways to make the mug sturdier, but you'll be sacrificing everything else you like about the mug to achieve that. The design of the mug is what makes it appealing. If the glass were thicker it'd weigh like a brick due to the twin layers of glass. I've used other double-wall glasses and it's like picking up a piece of plastic in comparison to the Bodum mug. The outer wall is a single sheet of curved glass with no bevels or reinforced areas, leaving it that clean, classy look, but also leaving it susceptible to cracking or breaking.I consider myself to be rather clumsy when it comes to handling such vulnerable items, BUT my mugs have held up for more than 4 months AND I hand-wash, which gives that much more opportunity for dropping, clanking into other glasses, etc. One of my mugs has a small crack near the top rim, but is still usable. It does now have some condensation in between the 2 panes, but other than that the mug still keeps the outer edge cool to the touch and still keeps my coffee hotter longer. The only reason I am ordering a new set today is because a plate fell on top of one of the mugs while washing, causing it to break-- and any other glass would have done the same thing. To conclude, this mug is maybe a bit more fashionable than it is functional where durability is concerned, but you can counter this aspect by treating the mug a bit more gently than a standard ceramic coffee mug or other beverage glass. What you are paying for is the premium brand name, the double-walled, insulating feature, and the clean, classy appearance the mug offers. As long as you buy the mug here or directly from Bodum at the price of $30-$35 I think it's well worth the price for what you get (Macys charges over $50 and is NOT worth that price). I would recommend this set of mugs to anyone who appreciates fine quality, innovative design, is tired of running to set down a burning hot mug, and/or wants to keep their coffee hotter for longer without using a typical insulated, steel travel mug.Bodum also has a limited warranty so keep your receipt. I've had a french press beaker replaced once and it was no problem to deal with Bodum.
