Does this product flake?

It does not flake in my hair at all. I get great curls in my hair is soft and bouncy. However, when my daughter uses this product, her hair does flake. So I think it varies from individual to individual.

Is this good for 4c hair type? My hair is extremely thick and coarse.

I have very true 4C and I used it as a wash and go, in the shower, and it worked better than others I have use. Gave me a good curl pattern and did not shrink too bad. I also have Aunt Jackie's and this worked a little bit better with reducing the shrinkage and keeping my curl. Only con is hair takes a long time to dry. Longer than normal and it works best with really wet 4C hair.
