Gamma Ray Polarized Classics
At first blush, these sun glasses are really nice. Only received them today, so I am responding with my first impressions. Very happy with this purchase. Sitting side by side, they look like my very expensive Persol 3048S-9000/58 glasses. The Persol's have a 55mm eye size lens and they fit a tad too wide, but I wear a thick eyeglass retainer with them, for when I am in the boat fishing. So the slight extra width, of the 55mm lens gives me a tad extra room, which I like. Otherwise, the Persols would fit a bit too loosely, for regular wear. The Gamma Ray lenses looks to measure 53mm. The frame fits my big head perfectly. The frame is a solid piece of plastic that fits to the bridge of my nose comfortably. Some sunglasses have rubber inserts that provide cushioning to the nose. No separate such cushioning is provided here. In my case, the fit is perfect, even without such a rubber cushion. My glass lensed Persol's were $200+ sun glasses. I stepped on them last week and broke a (glass) lens. Rather than try to repair these, I took a chance on the Gamma Rays. Glad I did. The list price, at this time, was $12.99. Shipping and sales taxes were extra. Remember, this deal included 3 complete units. Each pair had different tinted lenses; smoke/grey, rose, and green. They work. They are polarized. Previously, went to one of the big box stores and tried on several different sun glass frames. None fit me satisfactorily. The lowest price was ~$15 each. I passed on these and went to Amazon. Here, I received 3 units and they fit well. These are not Persols. My Persols weigh 36 grams, even with one missing lens. The Gamma Rays weigh 26 grams total. Even though they are light weight, they seems sturdy. They Gamma Rays are spec'd as UV400. You can Google what this means. Basically, it means that you get 99-100% protection from ultraviolet radiation. Time will tell about how they wear. I always cringe when I hear people say you get what you pay for, but in this case, for a really low price, I got a good deal. Full disclosure, I paid for these glasses out of my own pocket. I do not work for Gamma Ray.Edit: The above stands as submitted, however, there is one discrepancy regarding the blanket description covering the sun glasses depicted. The description reads: Gamma Ray Polarized UV400 Classic Style Sunglasses with Mirror Lens. Not all the pictured items in the sales offering have or show mirrored lenses. I selected the set of 3 sun glasses that did not appear to have mirrored lenses. I received what I believed I ordered; non-mirrored lenses. So, while this review was automatically given the title containing the phrase "mirrored lens", my review is limited to the non-mirrored units I selected. My experience, this afternoon, with the optics for these 3 different tinted lenses is positive and I am happy with what I ordered and received.

For people who lose their sunglasses!
After my teenager borrowed and then lost 2 pairs of my Ray-Bans, I downgraded him to these knockoffs. Multiple pairs on hand means he can keep one in his car, one in his backpack, and one on his face! Bargain pricing means I won't be weeping when he breaks or loses these sunglasses. He says these are dark enough, and comfortable (he has a pretty big head so this was a surprise). Fashion-wise, they aren't quite as cool as real Ray-Bans but the style still works well with a variety of clothes.

Great and affordable
Just got them and immediately tested then out. The fit is nice. I bought the biggest set and they don't squeeze but they don't feel like they will slip off either. I do wish they were a little taller but that's just the style of the glasses so no big complaint there. The only reason it's 4 stars and not 5 is because they are mirrored but still easily see through. I know people with glasses where it is next to impossible to see through them and I was kind of hoping for that.Other than that they are solid. About 5 bucks a pair. I can keep one in the car one at work and one at home all just in case I forget a pair or something.

These are the best inexpensive sunglasses! Get some.
First, let me say this, I love sunglasses. I live in a sunny state and I've had Lasik surgery (awesome), so I need sunglasses. I have a drawer FULL of broken Ray Bans and other brand names, probably over $1,000 worth. *That's just stupid*.So now I wear cheap sunglasses. If they break, if I lose them, oh well... I've bought every pair of inexpensive glasses and all the cheap knock-offs here on Amazon and for the most part, they are "meh". Okay but not great. These sunglasses are great. Period. They have a quality build, the lenses are clear, well colored, and don't scratch easily. They don't fall apart. The screws don't pop out. The "tortoise" design actually looks good. They fit well and the construction is FAR superior to any other glasses offered at a low price. (or higher priced) And these are priced better than the real cheapos that break in a month.I really didn't think I'd find the perfect pair of low-cost sunglasses, but here we are. Mission complete. As soon as I finish writing this review, I'm ordering a few more, because while they're great, they still can't stop me from losing them and I want to make sure I have a good supply in case they quit selling them.Note: Sometimes they change items and keep the same reviews. This review is for the "GAMMA RAY Polarized UV400 Classic Style Sunglasses with Mirror Lens and Multi Pack Options." They are excellent. No, I didn't get them for free and yes, this is a real review. I've been here on Amazon since the 1990s and my reviews are not for sale.

As advertised, should have gotten a higher quality.
Pros:-Fit face well. I can swivel my head quickly back and forth and not have them flying off.-Cheap. I purchased the 3-pack for the price I would spend on a normal pair of glasses.-Nice finish and classy, basic look.-Nice cloth carrying bag.Cons:-Don't actually do that much in the way of sunglasses. They aren't that dark and I am still squinting when I wear them . They may be mildly polarized, but not enough in my opinion. I didn't think polarization was a scale-type option, but these are probably only 10-25% polarized. Add that to the fact that they aren't very dark, and you have some poor working sunglasses.-They are see through. I can look at myself in a moderately lit mirror and still see my eyes. This mostly falls under Con #1, but if you are trying to be discrete, these aren't for you.- The grey and blue look identical unless viewed in direct sunlight, and even then.I bought these after loosing my last pair, but I will probably not buy them again. I loose sunglasses about once every three months, so it is still worth it for me to get a little more quality. These are you-loose-them-every-two-weeks type of glasses or for indoor productions (Stage glasses). My main use is outdoor activites and these just won't cut it.

These USED to be decent quality.
I bought several pairs of Gamma Ray Cheaters back in 2016. They were all excellent quality and I was amazed at the price at the time. They were name-brand quality for a heck of a lot less. Over the last couple of years, I've lost my favourite pairs so I decided to get some replacements. The new Gamma Rays are CHEAP. Very light, brittle plastic with lenses that are not nearly dark enough. These new sunglasses have so little weight they feel like they would blow off your head in light wind. I still have two pairs of the previous versions and I can say unequivocally that there is NO comparison. I'm really disappointed.

Nice Glasses, Fit Larger Head - Recommended
Received these a couple of days ago and have been wearing one pair since then. The quality is good. The frames are a bit thicker than what I'm normally used to, but they are not heavy or uncomfortable. They came in three small fabric draw bags plus one 'Croakie' type band that attaches to the ears of the frames and hangs around the neck. A serious upgrade to the $6 type sunglasses that are sold through Big Box stores. And yes, there are three different types of lens shades, and all are polarized, a feature that's hard to find on sunglasses at this price. Recommended

Solid Sunglasses but didn't meet my expectations
I received these sunglasses recently and I'm indifferent in my feelings towards them. I bought these glasses for the colored lenses but I was disappointed that only the yellow lens had a colored tint while the blue didn't have any at all. For the price, these glasses feel sturdy and well made except the fact that one pair had a splash of white paint on the frame. In the end, these glasses are worth the price if you're looking for a pair of sunglasses without breaking the bank but it disappointed me in what i was expecting out of them.7/10

Llegaron antes de lo programado y excelente servicio de entrega. Se ve excelente en condiciones de sol directo y hasta cuando pasas por algún túnel. Gracias
