Honestly I don't know but I tried with P9 Lite and other Branded phones it is compatible with them. So I believe it will be compatible with Y9 Prime and more important this is original Earphones.

Earphones are okay for the price.

Regular affordable earphones that does the job. Works on laptops and tablets that have the earphone/headphone jack on them. Volume buttons do not work but the mic works fine. So if you're looking for something cheap that works for a simple purpose and nothing else, then this is the product for you.
