Well built, and light weight.
Just tried it out, strings are strong and the stichting gives me no worries. Add more layers to this hammock and you are good to go for winter hammocking. Also Lifetime warranty? Yes please - definitely worth it.

Bon produit
Par contre essentiel selon moi d’acheter des sangles plus que les cordes fournis avec le hamac

Very Comfortable Hammock
I love this hammock and so does my dog!! This is my 2nd purchase for the Bear Butt hammock. I have had my first one for several years now and it has held up really well. We decided to purchase another for my husband. My only issue with this new hammock is that for some reason we can't seem to get it to hang straight. You feel like you're going to roll out of it on one side. I have tried to figure out what the problem is but I don't see a difference between the first one we purchased and this one, however it does still work. I would recommend buying the tree straps for hanging the hammock. They also hold up and work very well.

Considering the hype, a bit of a let down.
The first thing I noticed taking this out of the stuff sack was that the fabric just didn't feel as nice as I expected. Other hammocks I've purchased in the price range had better-feeling fabric. This fabric isn't stiff, it's just not smooth and soft like my Two Tree hammock. Since the first WORD in "about this item" is "LUXURIOUS" (in all caps), that felt like quite a bit of a let-down.The second thing I noticed taking this out of the stuff sack was that the carabiners were a LOT heavier than on my other hammocks... sure enough, steel carabiners - heavy and rust-prone. Swapping them out for some 12kN-rated aluminum wire-gates (over 2,500lbs) took away 1/8th of the weight of the hammock. The third thing that I noticed... wow, that stuff sack is tight. My other hammocks in the price range have another inch or two of height in the stuff sack, to make it easier to get your cords and hammock straps inside the bag as well. This one... I imagine I could get the straps in with some forceful stuffing, but trying a little bit of nylon webbing in... that's going to be a challenge. That's a bit of questionable design, seeing that using only the cord around a tree is a good way to damage and possibly kill the tree, some strap or webbing is going to be added by pretty much every user.I understand that this isn't a super-expensive brand of hammock. But it's also not an inexpensive brand of hammock, other brands that cost less include the straps as well. This will work, for sure, but I think a lot more attention could be paid to the little details.
