This is a great product if you are looking for metallics to use.The colors come out just as expected. The gel consistency, brightness, and taste are all what the seller said that it would be. The only disagreement I would have is thst the bottles are extremely small. So if you have a large project to fulfill, their is not the one to order. The actual website has larger bottles. So the value for the money was fine.

I typically used Americolor or Wilton gels for coloring icing and do not yet have an airbrush, but I knew I wanted a silver metallic look for a particular project I was doing so I started researching. I found this set offered a nice selection of colors at a good price so I got it even though it is intended for airbrushing. Based on the other reviews, I figured I could paint with it. I mixed a few drops of the metallic silver and red with one or two drops of high-proof alcohol and painted over royal icing as shown in the photos of my Day of the Dead cake. I think I did about three coats for both the silver and the red on her lips. The red looked pretty dull until about the third coat but I think it turned out okay. I got to the point where I was satisfied enough that I was ready to stop decorating - lol. I also mixed the red and blue to get a deep purple for the spider on the side, but I couldn't get the color I wanted so I added Americolor Regal Purple and it turned out the way I wanted.I am pleased with the results and happy I got this set.For your reference, the photos show the silver color used on the filigree and daisies, and the red color on her lips. (The various golds are from either Wilton spray cans or other products I already had and wanted to use up so I cannot comment much on the Chefmaster gold. I did try the Chefmaster gold on one daisy. It was very pretty, but, yes, a yellow gold. However, I only applied one coat before deciding I just wanted to spray with Wilton Colormist in order to save time and use up what I already had. I think if I'd painted the same three coats, the gold would have produced the same lovely results as the silver.)

The media could not be loaded. I purchased these for a St. Patrick's theme that I seen on YouTube/TikTok that I wanted to try out came out great the color green is vibrant! Wish the company offered more metallic colors. Would purchase again and IS.One bottle of the metallic green covered about 15 apples.

Did not appear as vibrant or metallic when used. Even when adding to a liquor to use as spray container
