I purchased this antenna to replace one I broke off my Kubota RTV. The build quality of this is disappointing as it is flimsy and not designed well for electrical connection between the whip and coaxial cable. I suspect this will not last very long.

This product came without any mounting instructions. I finally figured out how to mount it thanks to comments on Amazon. There was already an antenna on the radio/stereo in my boat. So, I did a test between the existing antenna and the Mrant12. The Mrant12 failed terribly as the reception was noticeable better with the old antenna and many more FM stations were received. I'm not going to bother returning it....it's going in the trash. Listen to the reviews on this site.

Have a marine in dash radio install on my deck (house) that received no local radio stations. Received this item quickly and plugged it in and now I get all the local stations clearly.

The antenna fell off in the first 15 minutes of use. The antenna is not tightly threaded to the pivot mount.
