For a bio this stands out...no wonder it won a trove of awards. It's also a music development lesson on how popular music developed so quickly and saturated the world. The acting is good but what's beyond Stellar is Sissy's singing and especially Beverly D'Angelo - honoring Patsy Cline, singing her classic smash Sweet Dreams will leave you stunned, its beyond impressive. Beverly deserved an Oscar just for her vocal prowess.

The movie arrived in mint condition, and in a very timely manner. I couldn't be more excited to receive it

□「キャリー」で鮮烈な印象を与えたシシー・スペイセクさん。個性的な容貌で選ばれていたと勝手におもっていましたが、この作品を観て見直しました。エンターテイナーとして実力のある女優さんでした。後で有名になったトミー・リー・ジョーンズさんも、才能では彼女にかなわないかな。撮影監督：ラルフ・ボードの力量もあり、きちっとした手抜きのない作品です。今流の映画よりも、この様な映画のほうが創るのはむずかしいでしょう。一見の価値ありです。

私はカントリーやブルーグラスが好きなので、試しに観てみたら大ヒット作でした。実際にカントリー界で活躍していた歌手の自伝です。ストーリーは淡々と地味に進んでいきますが、中々味があり、所々で流れるカントリーがたまりません。若き日のトミー・リー・ジョーンズが渋いです。音楽がかなり気に入ったので、モデルになった方のCDと、作中実際に女優さんが歌っているサウンドトラックを購入しちゃいました。
