This is very simple and reliable. I tried the cheap knockoffs first. Should have known better! 🤣

Most range finders are geared toward ball golf and only show meters or yards. This one shows feet or meters which is great for disc golf. It auto-calculates elevation by degrees only.

Watching youtube tourney coverage, Paul Ulibarri wore me down...Got this and really enjoy using it. It's a little sensitive and so I always take a few quick readings. If you "miss" basket or your target (tree, etc.) you'll get surprising reading. I like the elevation it shows too, though that it often easy to gauge just by looking. A decent handheld 8X optical aid to look at birds (or a tall pine looking for that errant throw). Has probably saved me a few throws already. Nice to know distance of a "fairway ace" without walking it off!

Okay we were so excited for this range finder. My husband and I have both been playing disc golf 10 years for me and 11 for him. So excited to get read outs on our drives! And to get actual distance to basket. I gave it 4 stars because it didn't come with a carrying case or protective cover of any kind. Other wise super straight forward and ease of use.

Great value for the price. Great battery and mine has sat in the Texas heat inside the car in August and still works flawlessly.

I put this in my disc golf bag 2 months ago and I am constantly using it. I credit this tool for bringing my inconsistent and hesitant game into a more consistent and dialed in game. I used to think I was pretty good at estimating how far out I was from my basket. It turns out that I’m really bad at judging distances. Like with that throw where I think I’m 120-130 feet from the pin and I was getting ready to throw a hyzer onto the green, and it turns out I’m really 90’ and I should be jump putting. Or I think I’m 180’ away when I’m really 220’. The distance changes the shot. I like taking this out to a baseball field and measuring out exact distances to throw. When I have the feel for what it takes to go a certain distance, it makes me more confident in executing those throws on the course. I couldn’t recommend this enough.

I’m a daily disc golfer and although not a professional, I put a lot of time and energy into the sport and into becoming a better player. As time has gone on, the distance I can reach with each type of disc has changed. “Should I throw my mid-range or my putter for this shot”- and without knowing the exact distance, I may under or over estimate the distance it actually is which completely changes my disc choice. The Range finder is light, easy to use, and accurate! It has completely changed the way I play a course. It definitely gives me an advantage to know exactly how far my shots can go and how far the basket is. Don’t get me wrong, this range finder hasn’t suddenly made me a better player, it just makes me a more knowledgeable player!

this item only measures in metres and feet so not suitable for UK/US/European golf. Description not clear and it was bought as a gift. Used for the first time after the return window has lapsed so left with a worthless gift. Very disappointed

Not accurate. Keeps giving different distances.
