The new TRIMPRO ROTOR has been designed and developed at the request of end users who are looking for yet another gentle and efficient Trimpro quality product. Employing leather fingers to circulate your flowers over our non-stick grate, the leaves are trimmed by our razor sharp tempered steel blades. Built at an angle, emptying the Rotor is as simple as swinging the latch to open the door and your perfectly trimmed flowers gently exit the upper cylinder, all while the machine is still running so production is non-stop. As with all our machines, the blade height is adjustable to meet every preference.

Should have known better!
This is a sturdy, well built machine. The manufacturers used high gauge metals throughout the entire trimmer. Everything fits nice and tight, maybe a little to tight for my taste. The top section sits in the bottom section with absolutely no room to spare. Not even a teeny little bit. We're talking real tight tolerances here. It's super easy to adjust the height of the blade and that is sure to come in handy. And the blade itself is fairly substantial, it's got some weight to it and looks like it will be easy to sharpen. Nothing to it, actually. With all that being said, I prefer my old TrimReaper to my new Trimpro Rotor. It's weird because the Trimpro Rotor is built better than my Reaper, it's a lot more solid, it's doesn't make nearly the racket the TrimReaper makes. As a matter of fact, the Rotor is quiet as can be. You can hardly hear it from the next room. You can hear my Reaper from a block away. And the Rotor has an adjustable blade which my Reaper didn't come with (although they may have them now). But the thing is, the TrimReaper does a better job trimming my buds than the Trimpro Rotor does and leaves them looking a lot less "beat the hell up" than the Rotor does. I bought the Trimpro Rotor because my Reaper is old, it rattles and shakes and always makes a hell of a racket when it's working (It's real quiet when it's turned off!). So I figured I'd splurge and buy a new trimmer and read the reviews, everybody saying how well built the thing was, stuff like that. And that it did a good job. So I decided to try it out. Big mistake. The other reviewers are correct in that it is well built. No doubt about that. But they've never used both trimmers side by side because the results speak for themselves. I think part of the problem with the Trimpro Rotor is the diameter of the unit is only 16" compared to 19.3" for the reaper. That may not sound like much but it gets worse. The Reaper has 5 spokes, each spoke having three fingers. The Rotor uses three spokes with three fingers. And the Rotor spins the flowers around much faster than the Reaper does. So instead of splitting a given amount of flowers into 5 parts and spinning them around kind of slowly, the Rotor splits the same amount of flowers into three parts and spins them fast. The Rotor has more flowers per section and they tend to get bunched together and then the heavy leather fingers crushes them. Even replacing the stiff leather fingers for soft rubber ones they sell as an extra didn't help very much. I wish I could return it. I should have stuck with my old, loud, beat up Reaper. Even as beat to hell as it is, it does a better job than this fancy new Rotor. Hey, anybody want to trade something for it? I'm serious. I'll consider all reasonable offers.

This machine works great for cleaning up small buds
This machine works great for cleaning up small buds. We only run bottoms with it and saves alot of time that would be spent doing them by hand. I would recommend using on all of your buds as the tops will just get tossed around alot and take just as long to final trim. to clean I soak the top in alcohol and wipe the leather fingers with olive oil. Pretty simple compared to the more expensive machines out there.
