This All Encompassing Trip (Chasing Pearl Jam Around The World)

This book may not be literary genius, but it is a fantastic account of a fan's journey. It brings an enlightening view of the fans that surround this amazing band, and a reminder of why this group of us is as enamored as we are. Jason's story was an inspiration to me, to get out and see more shows, talk to more people, and take more chances.

Was für ein tolles Tagebuch, wohl eins der interessantesten, die ich gelesen habe! Toller Autor, sehr nah zu lesen für den Leser, man hat das Gefühl nbei dem Trip dabei zu sein. Zudem geht es um eine der Weltbesten Bands-Pearl Jam!Super Photos sind auch dabei, alles rundum ein toller Trip der sich auf Englisch leicht lesen lässt:-)

As someone who missed having the ability to go around and take a few months off to travel at whim it's nice to be able to read about just pulling up and following an idea. I was able to catch some of the EU shows when they came through but I had no idea that this group was doing the tour! If you are a fan of traveling, want to get an idea if doing the big Road trip is right for you, or just a fan of people going out and living a dream and having fun, then definitely check the book out. I'm sure this will be something these friends remember for the rest of their lives and it's pretty nice to be able to get a small glimpse into what that would be like.

Yeah,maybe Jason's grammar is poor at times,repetitive? Yes!But who cares? This is Rock and Roll..not Shakespeare!I'm a fan of Pearl Jam,and came across the book whilst searching for others.What a great story!!Living the dream..I couldn't wait to start watching the DVD,none of em looked like i imagined they would do.So.what an amazing adventure,one that most of us could only dream of.Good luck and best wishes to everyone that made it such a fab read.
