housing is metal and blades are plastic - it has a solid heavy duty feel. I would not recommend using it in a high temp area.

Not sure.... it’s essentially a PC fan with a control knob. For reliable operation and safety.... I wouldn’t put it in anything hotter than 150F.

No. This fan is for very small specialty applications.
