The Chronicles of Narnia Colouring Book

This is the most disappointing colouring book I have ever seen.The pictures are awful, the quality is poor, too many words, too much black ink used. Just awful.The cover is very misleading as there are No pictures of Aslan or indeed any pictures that slightly resemble the front cover image.I shall be requesting a refund. Very poor and doesn't even deserve one star.

Absolutely magical. But the pictures have a lot of black, printed shading, so you can only add a hint of colour, but the pages of this colouring book have large quotes from chronicles of Narnia and had great fun filling in these as they are white only. I had great fun as an adult fan of these enchanting stories of C.S Lewis! Plus the illustrations done by Pauline Baynes.

I recieved my book today,and I do really like it.It is quite similar in style to the Macmillan Alice in wonderland book,that I also have .In that it does have a lot of text and some rather dark pictures.Also there are some quite small pictures of,the characters and such like .I would,have likes a few more illustrations of Aslan as he is my favourite character in the story .Overall I think it's a lovely book to have in my collection as I do like a classic the,themed story .I look forward to more of this type of colouring book .

Bought as a present, I was tempted to keep this for myself. The one star review below seems unaware that the pictures are from the original books and that they were highly acclaimed when the book was first published.

Arrived tonight. Beautiful book just for the drawings: all original artwork from the books. Or at least the 40 year old editions I have from my childhood!There are scenes from each book, including a title (cover) page. And there are big wordy quotations too. I'm really going to enjoy this one. It almost feels too precious to colour in.
