Can you mix this with water soluble paints?

Another question if anyone knows.....water-soluble oil paints can be cleaned up with soap and water-does using this Gamblin solvent-free gel medium products with the water-soluble paints change that?

How do i apply the fat over lean rule with this gel? Do i just use this only for all my layers

This medium is technically adding more fat to the paint so be careful when using it in the first layer of paint. This is the information I was told by a rep of the Gamblin company.

Does it thicken oil paint

No. It's a good medium to thin your oil paint. It also can be thinned to the point to use it as a glaze on your painting.

Will this product help my oil painting to dry faster? Thanks in advance for any answers.

To an extent it will. Try using less titanium white if you are using any. Titanium takes a longer time to dry than flake white also if you set your painting in the trunk of your car during a hot day it will help speed up the drying process. Beware however drying the painting in the car can cause colors to shift slightly. That is what I have been told but have not experienced it my self.
