i’ve had them for 2 years now and moved apartments and with the replacement sticky and all the stuff included i was able to set them back up in my new place and they’re still going strong ! highly recommend

So, they work. They work and they look nice. If you plan to stick them vertically onto a wall and then switch to horizontally you will likely want to know how to cut them and use the corner piece to line up the wiring. You WILL NOT want to use the directions that come with it. I have better vision than anyone any eye doctor I have ever seen has ever met and the pictures were still so small that I couldn’t tell the difference between them. Go on the popular video website and look up video instructions. One guy said it’s better not to cut it in the middle of the copper, but to cut it on the edge and get rid of a section. (If you don’t already know how this works you will probably find what I’m saying very confusing - I highly recommend finding a video before buying so you understand and buy something appropriate for you.) So the thing with these is that if you do want to cut them so you can make them look sharp, the part of the strip you can cut it on is spread further apart than on some other led strips (significantly further), thus making it far more difficult to line everything up precisely. If I had known how all of this works beforehand I would have gotten strips with more of the copper parts that you can cut closer together. It only comes with two corner connectors, so if you plan to switch from horizontal to vertical or back more than twice you will need to find out how to get more of the corner connectors. The remote works great. We haven’t tried the music feature as we’ve put this in my son’s bedroom and he’s at his dad’s right now, so it will be connected to his phone when he gets back. The included directions for doing that, however, are thankfully much clearer than the ones for cutting and connecting corners. We haven’t had any issues with the sticky part, but my walls are very flat and I only painted them three years ago so they are fairly fresh and clean still. Our ceilings are textured so there’s no way I’d be able to get them to stick to that. It does pull off paint very easily so be sure everything is working and you have everything where you want it to be before you stick it down.EDIT: It is now less than a year later and not a single one of the LEDs works anymore. If I take it off of the wall it will strip the paint off. Not worth it.

Does its job

There are two sections of these lights that are the wrong color. When we change the color, the weird section changes to a different wrong color.

I used it to make LED cloud light it went perfect but the app sucks. I can’t get the lights to sync up with my music.Only think you can do with the lights on your phone is change the colors, and flash pre-set colors in the app, turn the lights on & off with the app which is the bare minimum. So in that case they work fine. But I specifically wanted my lights to match music I play on my phone through the Bluetooth which it doesn’t do. The app in general is TERRIBLE there options in the app that it claims you can do, but you can’t do

These lights are amazing. I have tried many different lights and these are by far my favorite. They are bright easy to set up and can be stuck to pretty much any surface. They range on the speaker is far greater than I had even thought possible. It is able to pick up my voice at a normal speaking volume across the room, and it picks up music even easier. I found that both the app and remote used to control the lights color, speed, and appearance is very easy to use and has a large selection of options to choose from when customizing how they interact with music and sound, I was most surprised to see the app allows you to create custom colors. All in all these lights are the best I've ever owned, they are easy to use and gorgeous. I have tried many different brands of lights and these are by far the best, and I highly recommend these to anyone looking to have their own customizable lit space.

I like that this was easy to install and provided the perfect amount of color to add to my sewing room even when I'm not sewing. I use it as an accent piece when I am chilling or to set a calm quiet mood which the variation in lights does. I love them.

Other remotes interfere with the led lights and that's annoying. After a couple of months one small part of my led strip stopped working correctly as you can see. I did have to fold a corner in order for it to curve perpendicularly on my wall so that may have contributed. Gonna have to get new ones soon.
