Practice Makes Perfect Arabic Vocabulary
I purchased this book as part of the commonly bought together three pack of Practice Makes Perfect Arabic Vocabulary, Practice Makes Perfect Arabic Pronouns and Prepositions and Practice Makes Perfect Arabic Verb Tenses. As someone who was attempting to learn the language on his own, I found these books to be helpful with providing me with the basics of the language, not to mention providing extra words, phrases and other helpful terms. Plus, getting three 190+ page books for ~$30, it was also a great bargain.

Very good option
I have liked very much the book. One of the difficulties in arabic is the wide vocabulary, you never know if it is nowadays used or not. With this book you have a great number of words, with the plurals, and vowels where needed, that you know are used today.I am in a low intermediate level and I have found interesting words, others I knew from before, but useful, and easy to read and study.

Soooooo many words to learn
Almost 200 pages book with loooots of vocabulary, believe me it’s a lot. The book covers the vocabulary based on topics and I loved this approach. But not many practice exercises in this book compared to the order books of McGraw Hill’s Arabic verbs and pronouns

Good practice book but mostly written in English.
Fusha vocab. I struggle with this book since my knowledge is 80% 3maya. But those students of Fusha will benefit greatly from this book. Just be warned that you won't be able to use SOME words in this book with natives since they will laugh at you and tell you to use another word instead.I read that people complained of the font size in this book. I don't have many Arabic books but the book is fine and clear. Yes, the size is a bit larger but that doesn't take away any stars.I don't like it how ALL the instructions are in English.

Practice Makes Perfect Arabic Vocabulary--Really Helps!
As a help towards relearning my Arabic, the Practice Makes Perfect series has been very helpful. Practice, does indeed, make perfect or at least helpful. The books are well written and designed and definitely a good buy!

A disappointment
A real big dissapointment. First, here is a spoiler alert. The vocabulary is in Arabic script and not dual latinized. This is not a problem for me I read Arabic, but the script is tiny, tiny, tiny tiny tiny and almost unreadable without a magnifying glass. Even then it is a strain to hold the glass and study at the same time. The authors are very proud but i just do not see it. There is very little logic to the lesson. They promise they build but they really do not. Let me give you a small example of how it was not thought out. When they list the vocabulary they give two Arabic words following the English word. There is absolutely no explanation why there are two Arabic words for the one English word. Since I know other dialects I assume that one is Egyptian and the other Levant. But there is no explanation they just appear. I would not waste my time with this book. The lessons are completely unworkable.

Excellent for review
Great book for self study for those with an intermediate level of Arabic, and great review even for more advanced students. Plenty of exercises that slowly build on each other chapter after chapter to help you quickly expand your vocabulary. Logical lessons, structure, and order that makes it easy to follow. Answer key in the back to check your work.
