Great for wheels and emblems
I’m happy with the glossy. It is a little darker and little shiner. I sprayed it on a piece of wood just to see the difference. I dipped my wheels over a year ago and it has held up well. Taken it through car wash several times and no peeling. I did get a new set of tires and the wheels did get a few places around the rim of course so I ordered the glossy black to touch them up. I cleaned them and sprayed this over the old and came out better than before. You really have to put cans in warm water to get a good spray. This is not as glossy as spray paint but if you spray your last two coats heavy you can get a pretty good shine. The photo of wood shows plastic dip and glossy dip and you can see the difference

EZ to use, awesome look!
This was my first time using Plasti Dip and it was incredibly easy to apply. I did soak each can upright in warm water before using them and had no problems with the spray tips. I found that applying multiple coats very lightly worked best for my rims. Tried applying heavy coats jus because some of the other reviews suggested this but it caused bubbling or runs on my rim so I just removed it and re-sprayed the rim. I applied about 6 coats per wheel and still have plenty of extra for touch ups if needed. Don’t try to use every drop from the can because when very low it starts to splatter some. I jus applied mine yesterday and they look awesome! Too soon to give an honest rating on durability but def pleased with the look.

Semi-gloss; not Gloss
Technically, it is glossier than the original but it's more of a semi-gloss than an actual gloss finish. It's okay but it's not what I was expecting. it worked...

First coat
Definitely not worse than it was… interested to see how it drys and how second coat goes on. Well worth the money already though.Goes on thick enough to cover most blemishes- some stuff showing through but not super picky… good enough for a golf cart for $35 on the first coat using 2.5 cans.

Plastic dip spray paint
It didn't work for what I originally bought it for but I did find a use for it. So you never know what you can use it for. I'm glad I ordered it.

Application & Prep is key..
Good results if prep is done properly. For a glossy look, the last few coats need to overlap and be heavy/wet. I won't use the glossy black again, will go back to regular plasti and use glossifier. All of my cans worked fine, used a heating pad to pre-heat cans prior to use.
